I stayed here for AGTC 2014 as part of a large group of your operators. Check in took 30 minutes - they could have streamlined this process a lot and there was no welcome drink. After being up all night we rested before a function in the evening but were woken up and one point by housekeeping who just stared... More

This is our second time after the first visit when it first opened a few years ago. They have kept the infrastructure well from the hotel lobby to the room and the restaurants. business function, 50+ people. Great hotel. Was met at the airport, smooth transfer no hassles. Check in was a bit slow and a large deposit was taken on credit card I think 2x the total costs of rooms. Rooms were great, bathroom was something to write home about. A true 5 start room. Going there in winter you don't get... More

It is more chinese orientated as you recognize it after you just want to order something in one of their average restaurants. It is more like a four star hotel. They charge for every avtivities they offer.

Just spent a week there playing 10 courses and enjoyed it immensely. Courses not as spectacular as the Shenzhen/Dongguan resort but well prepared and challenging, especially Blackstone. The caddymasters and caddies are very polite and friendly and the golf experience very well organised. The hotel is outstanding with large comfortable rooms, a good choice of restaurants, excellent breakfast buffet with... More

As I stepped out of Haikou Meilan International airport, I saw a huge billboard of Mission Hills displayed close to the "OUT" gate. Quite impressed with the creatively done ad, I clicked a picture of it and that quite certainly proved to be a masterstroke for me, as I later figured out the imperative: it's hard to find people fluent... The room is nice except for the sewer smell. Restaurants are good for china standard. The hot springs were disgusting!!! I couldn't even go in fearing of catching some diseases. The facilities are very nice. I stayed in a standard room and found it quite comfortable. The view of the pools, trees and golf courses was splendid. There are plenty of activities for lounging and reading as well as being active. There are indoor activities if the weather is inclement. The food is very good, but the breakfast is pricy.... More
