Crossing over from Macau to zhuhai, I always stay in guotai, exterior looks like a replica of Wynn Macau with the signature to match. Rooms are big and comfy, very comfortable and not those run down decor and musty smell. It's china so most rooms still smell of smoke. Beds are super big, bigger than most hotels but they usually... This hotel is very good value for money. Sure it is not perfect, but for the money you pay it is excellent and I do not hesitate to recommend it to my western business associates'. Rooms are very large, clean and quiet. WiFi is fast. Location is really good, short walk to major shopping areas and bars. You can walk... More

Went to Zhuhai to stay over night for shopping and seafood. The hotel is location is a 10 mins walk from the underground shopping mall. It even closed to massage and fast food chain that can facilitate your "eating" need 24 hrs. The room is spacious, comfortable with possible view of the Custom. This gives you a option to able... Booked this hotel based on it's Trip Advisor rating - how wrong we were... Barely one of the hotel staff spoke English, which makes even the simple things frustrating, to say the least. Our check out took some 20 mins, and still ended with us having to walk out so we didn't miss our ferry. Went to look at 'massage'... More

The price was affordable and the room was really spacious. Bed was so comfortable i guess we got a Super king size. Its clean and with high speed free wifi. It was just 5 mins away from the Underground shopping mall which was great for ladies and mens. plenty of shops selling at really low prices. Spent a bomb there!... More

The price is still very affordable for such kind of hotel. People were friendly helping us to find the bus terminal to go to Kaiping. They were really try their best but finally provide the wrong information .. Which finally turned OK. The hotel has no breakfast capabilities which could be an issue.

Pros: Great hotel with clean, spacious, nicely furnished rooms, a HUGE comfy bed and fluffy pillows and nice shower. Chaise longue was a nice touch. Wifi was good. Breakfast was fine and had enough Western options (bacon, eggs, sausages, yoghurt, cereals and toast) and was on till 10:30. Check-in and out was smooth. Good location for border crossing, that underground... More

Overall it is a good hotel to stay. But there are two comments you may want to know. Firstly, the towel is a bit old and hard and it is not so fragrant. Secondly, if you stay at high floors, there will see lots of discarded furniture on the roof of other lower buildings. Also when you use their clothes... More

This hotel is most conveniently located being very close to the immigration check point going across to Macau. Also very close to restaurants or cheap street food. It was wonderful being able to walk over to the underground shopping mall at immigration center for loads of shopping and also some good food. The hotel itself is great. Room was of... More

Thank you past reviewers for the high recommendation of Guotai Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel for the following reasons:- Pros 1) Great location (near the Gongbei Port Underground Shopping Mall). MeteredTaxi drivers are honest & will take you to destination in shortest way with reasonable fares. 2) Room was impressive - marble & carpet flooring. 3)... More
