I can't really say anything bad about the Sunway Hotel. My stay was like many others in Mainland China. As has been referenced by other reviewers, the hotel is very close to the Shenzhen Airport and the Hong Kong Ferry. I should warn you, that proximity to the airport doesn't mean that travel time over there shouldn't be factored in... more

The Sunway is an airport hotel with no remarkable features other than negative ones. I found the rooms clean but worn; ultimately the hotel was a means to an end close the Shenzhen airport. I only booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport for our flight to Guilin the following morning. We paid RMB348 a night with buffet breakfast for 2 for a standard double room. an average chinese business hotel. mostly chinese food with some poor attemts at western. free broadband in rooms which are clean and tidy. walking distance to the airport and short taxi ride to the ferry to hongkong more
