Like many of the other reviewers have stated, this hotel is located in a great location (near the subway and border crossing into Hong Kong), however, the rooms are old and need renovations to bring the hotel up to date. The people were friendly. The public areas look nice. Decent service. Breakfast at the Coffee Garden was good. more

I have stayed at Shangri-la Shenzhen many times. The location is fantastic - right near the main train station and close proximity to my favourite Queens Dining and Spa bath house. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions - always outstanding. The amenities are first class, service unbelievably courteous, and am always sad to leave.
