Homelands has a really glitzy feel.. Someone went to Vegas , stayed in the Bellagio and Paris hotels and figured this was normal style for western tastes ! The rooms look like you've walked into a French Chateau film set ! To me it was a bit over the top..but you must bear in mind that this is fairly rural... More

Their interpretation of a grand western style hotel was a bit over the top. But the rooms were large, clean and comfortable which is all I really ask. This is a hotel that will stay in your memory for long. But if you are a Westener, make sure you get a room on the 3rd floor which is all traditional Chinese.
