A new hotel in a new area with many noisy construction sites nearby. The sounds of ground pounding, metal cutting, floor hammering etc. can last to very late at the night. The hotel is quite big but well maintained. The seaside location can be a bit misleading as a highway separates the hotel from the seashore and one cannot get... More

One of nearly 1000 hotels or accommodation places in Xiamen. It's an older hotel but well maintained. It is far away from downtown and as a result is away from the noise and hustle of the city. Large rooms with most amenities. Has a number of restaurants, one which offers a seafood buffet. It was rather expensive by chinese standards.

Breakfast and food great Next to sea and views beautiful. Hotel is lovely but not much to do but relax. Good for business to get away from town and then next day do business. Restaurants along the waterway near Hotel very good. Hotel has the amenities needed for any traveler.

This hotel is directly on the ocean and is brand new, beautiful decor in the rooms, extremely comfortable bathrooms and a nice balcony to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Nice 4 star-category (IMHO) hotel. As with many buildings in Xiamen it seems as it could use some detailing, but in general is a good deal and nice hotel. Breakfast is very oriental. You can get a few western choices but 90% is chinese dishes. Services is excellent, in spite of the language barrier. i'd recommend it.

This hotel is connected to the Conference Centre which is a real bonus if you are working there. English speakers are a bit hit and miss at this hotel - some are excellent, some are appaulling which was a bit annoying when people are trying to call you in your room and can't be understood. Ordering room service too can... More

As you would expect from a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the Xiamen International Seaside Hotel has well appointed rooms and excellent service. Its main problem is that unless you are there for the adjoining conference and expo facility, it is a long way from the main town and attractions. The Hotel itself has a restaurant serving... More
