This hotel seems to be a very local Chinese hotel. Room was generally clean and has a very hard bed. There was large variety of food for breakfast. The free wifi in the room was with reasonably good signal. The operation of the TV in the room would be difficult for any foreigner.

For your own sanity stay away from room 401 next to the gym. You will be awake from all hours with the workers serving food to whatever event will be going on in the conference room. Crap hotel, crap breakfast, windows let in every sound from Outside. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere nice when in China.

I am giving this hotel an average rating which seems high, but ONLY because Chinese hotels at this price-point run the gamut from ok to horrendous. With a north-american filter on, I would rate this as poor at best. This is regrettably my second time staying at this hotel. It is close to the Fuzhou performing arts centre, just across... More

Spacious rooms, clean and quiet and relatively well appointed. The staff was competent and courteous and the location of the hotel is quite central and near the main square. Ordinary lobby area. I did not have the chance to taste the dining options. Overall acceptable but rather expensive for what is on offer. Could do with a refurbishment because it... More

Unlike the other hotels on my tour of China where I availed myself of my own scoring with 0.5 increments (meaning most hotels I placed at 3.5), this was one was a solid four. I would stay here again. Despite needing an update, I felt this hotel distinguished itself to me with its attention to service and detail. Though its... More

The hotel was a life saver, after I moved out of another hotel, thought room was a bit worn out, it's was at least clean. They served me a bowl of fruits every day in the room , which was very nice. Breakfast was a wide variety , but was more chinese a choice , but had a small selection... More

I visited Sunshine Holiday Hotel during my business trip to Fuzhou. The entrance is big and spacious. The rooms are wide and clean but getting weared out. There is internet in the rooms. The bed was stiff which was healthy. I couldnot operate the TV since it was a bit complicated. Unfortunately the hotel staff doesnot know English so you... More

Given this hotel is only 400 rmb for a room on elong we were pleased. We were on the business floor rom a bit small but clean, English tv options, once we worked out the instructions, computer supplied, also wifi, fruit etc and hot spring water for the bath. Even the western breakfast was ok though you need to get... More

Have you ever enter a hotel room and you first reaction was "Oh dear, I want to change hotel". The room on the 5th floor had a funny smell. The carpet was filthy, full of cigarette burns with lots of body hairs. The bathroom was smelly and the taps were loose. After protesting I was moved to the 12th floor.... More

The experience was a bit disappointing: the staff doesn't speak English, so if you don't have a Chinese speaker with you it may be awful. I had an appartment, which I believe was the top of their accomodation. However, the rooms were a bit dirty (I found some peanuts on the carpet upon check-in) and had a funny smell so... More
