The Hostal is very closed to the city and the price is perfect. We had a double room for 30.000 Ch$ / 40 EURO per night including breakfast. Everthing is clean and cozy. The owner is very friendly. It was a great time there and we would come back and stay longer. Thanks a lot to all the great people... More

Due to unthoughtful booking we stayed in the hostel twice.. and we definitely don't recommend it! To be fair the breakfast was good, we could leave our bags in a storage room, it is close to the city center and the booking via email was easy. There are a couple of reasons we don't recommend a stay in this hostal:... More

This old wooden house looks charming from the outside but not so much inside. The wooden floors and walls makes it quite noisy and not so easy to heat up. Ok welcome and breakfast but we chose another place for our next stop in Punta Arenas.

Great hospitality and warm home. A good value for serious travellers who chose to spend their money on the important things. Good safe place to rest and refresh. Thank you Misael. We miss Chile. We will be back. The Ellessy Family.

My partner and I stayed in Fitzroy for two nights in March. The hostel is well located close to town and the building itself is quite quirky and different compared to those surrounding it (its an old mansion type building). We were a party of two but were given a triple room (three single beds). The private rooms are clean... More

Believe it or not, but they baked fresh bread for breakfast! Quite good! As for the rest: Time seemed to have stopped here, so dont expect something modern and fancy. The dorm was quite big and had single beds (new mattresses would be a good idea). The kitchen is small, but usable. We had a reservation, but they couldnt find... More

We stayed at this hostal for 3 nights and enjoyed it. Its quiet and small and the bathrooms and rooms are clean. The breakfast is good, homemade bread and cake and cheese! The staff is friendly and accommodating but they keep to themselves which is nice. The hostal is also very warm which is also nice because it was really... More

We spent four nights here, definitely the best stay during our trip through Chile. The accommodation is very decent, rooms (we stayed in dorm) are comfortable. Breakfast is very good, the staff is kind and makes you feel home. The owner also speaks very good english, and has great taste in music! There's wi-fi and they take credit card payments.... More

The hostal is in a good location, just two blocks from the main square, few blocks from the groceries store and from most intercity bus companies. This is a classic old house with mostly private rooms and one five bed dorm. There is a large living room, kitchen and dedicated outside smoking area. It is possible to also park your... More
