Absolutely recommended. The place makes you feel like home. Great music, a huge collection of books and dvd movies, plus the owner, Claudio, is an awesome guy. If you are coming to Torres del Paine National Park this is the place to settle in.

We stayed here one night in February 2014 at the last minute. We had exited Torres del Paine one night earlier than we had anticipated. This hostel was able to give us their last room with two twin beds. Nice bathroom. Okay breakfast, comfortable dining area. A bit more expensive than our regular place, but for a last minute fit... Stayed here after a week of trekking in bad weather. Nice hospitable well located place. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed, hot shower and great wifi. What more can anyone ask for? Recommend highly for casual travel on a budget.

Although this is advertised and called a "Hostel" it is not a backpackers hostel, it is a nice B+B with good sized rooms (doubles/triples) all with individual en-suite private bathrooms. The rooms are well kept and clean, but the wardrobes are tired and need replacing. The showers are wonderful and powerful, and there were 2 nice hot radiators which we... More

The staff at Isla Morena are welcoming, informative and attentive. My room, with bathroom, was warm and the bed a pleasure to sink into after exploring Torres del Paine. It is close to the main square and lots of good places to eat. The rooms are not totally soundproof (nor were they in an expensive hotel friends stayed in). Take... More

It was an absolute delight to stay at this hostel. Our first impression was that the rooms were a little tired, but in fact we had a great experience at a great price of US$68 per night. Conveniently located close to the main square our room was large, spotlessly clean and complete with wardrobe & chest of drawers to put... More

We arrived late after trekking and Susana was there with a welcome smile. Our private room was more like a hotel than a hostel and a shame that we were only there for one night. We were leaving early the next day and Susana had a breakfast ready for us at 6 am! If we're ever in Puerto Natales again,... More

Isla Morena was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip in Chile. Susannah, the owner, is VERY welcoming and makes you feel at home. The hotel is very clean, warm and comfortable. Wifi is accessible and there is a library of books and DVDs for people to use. Susannah arranged all our tours (Day tour to... More

This lovely B&B was definitely our best lodging during a 3 week trip in Chile and Argentina. It is a good location: a block from the central plaza. Delightful manager (Susanna) is very friendly and personable and offers unlimited help in planning, etc. She even prepared a traditional Chilean "onces" for us one afternoon. Rooms and baths are nice. Comfy... More

This place is simply perfect. Susana, the hostess, is a super friendy, nice and helpfull person. She helped us a lot with the organization of our trips to Torres Del Paine and to El Calafate/El Chaltén. She was very flexible as well. We finished the Torres Del Paine circuit ahead of scheduled and we could easily change our reservations. We... More
