This is one of the town’s larger hotels and supports many tour groups. It has a great view of the sea if you can get it but my room faced a bare wall with no view. It is well situated with an easy walk to the town square that supports many restaurants that range from fine dining to casual eating.... More

As with many previous reviewers, our stay was short but very pleasant. A warm welcome from the hotel staff and the to a very comfortable room with a good bed, a fabulous rain shower and a relatively quiet night. The public area was very light and spacious and decorated in contemporary style. Staff were friendly and offered to show us... More

arrived very late, around 11.30pm thanks to Lan Chile and very delayed flight. Were expecting fjord view room (according to our uk tour operator) but got view of buildings and cars. However, at that time of night who cares. Excellent rain shower, best in Chile, very comfortable beds and attractive décor throughout hotel. The only hotel that we stayed in... More

The hotel and rooms were extremely nice and well-maintained. The only room-related issue that we had was that our room was very warm, almost too hot. The bathroom and shower were great, and the wifi excellent. The breakfast here was incredible. Hot and cold options, good coffee, omelet station, sweets, fruits, really everything you could want and all of it... More

We used this hotel as a transition point to the Singular. It sits right on the waterfront so the views from the front rooms are overlooking Ultima Esperanza sound. Rooms are sizable but simple, clean but sparse. It would compare to a Holiday Inn in the US and the prices are about the same. We had a buffet breakfast and... More

This was the most expensive of all the hotels we stayed in during our 22-day tour of Chile and Argentina. It enjoys a star –rating way beyond what it offers in facilities and services. It may happen to be the best there is in this God-forsaken port town of 20,000 inhabitants that seems to have sprung up out of nowhere... More

The outstanding part about this hotel is the unbelievable view of the Last Hope Sound and mountains and glaciers in the background, right from the hotel room. The waterfront is right opposite as well, with an excellent area for walking. Hotel and room amenities are great too. Breakfast is awesome. Restaurants and shops are also within walking distance.

We stayed only one night in this remote town. Every thing was excellent including location, room and food. The chef made very special dinner for us, really not regular. In front at the sea you can see black neck swans.

Sadly only spent one night here as on tour. View from room was magnificent. Very comfortable room with great bedding& fab toiletries!! Alas breakfast was chaotic due to most guests being on tours and eating at same time!! Food ok but just the usual assortment of processed ham and cheese and strange looking cereals. Also powered/whatever fruit juices.....yeuk. The scrambled... More

If you want to visit one of the most beautifull places in the world, than you have to see Pantagonia, and if you do so your place to stay is Hotel Costaustralis. This hotel a stone throw away from the beach is a landmark by its outer appearance which is simply charming, however inside it is equally appealing. What a... More
