I would say it was one of the best places to stay while I travelled across whole Chile. Even we stayed only one night, it still gave some home feeling. It is really small, but very cozy. In the morning we needed to woke up early for our trek in Torres and it was nice to see that breakfast is... More

My partner and I stayed in the Tin House Patagonia for 2 nights, 1 prior to and 1 post our trek in Torres Del Paine. The name isn't symbolic - it is quite literally a residential 3 bedroom house with tin overlaying the weatherboard. 2 bedrooms are used as double rooms and the 3rd has 2 x 2 bunk beds.... More

Hi, Thanks for the great review! I am really glad you liked your stay and so sorry about the not so nice housemates. I wanted to explain about the VAT - our hostel is too small to qualify for what is called "Factura de Exportacion", which is the type of receipt that you need in order to not pay the... More

This hostel served as our base to Torres del Paine. It was sufficient for our needs. I got the double room because we needed a full bed for my husband who is tall. There are 2 shared bathrooms and they were clean. The kitchen is big and they do provide eggs for you to cook and coffee for breakfast. The... More

My husband and I stayed here the night before we started backpacking. We stayed in a bunk room with 2 other travelers. Bedding was VERY comfortable and we were each provided with towels and a cubby to lock our items. The worker at the house was very nice and spoke English. The house was secure and had free wifi. They... More

Great hostel. It's ideal for trekkers before or after their trek. It's generally pretty quiet. Great location. The staff is great, especially Nara, the beautiful and friendly girls who speaks English very well. Highly recommended for those who enjoys some decent rest.

What a wonderful place to be before or after the trek in Torres del Paine. The staff are great, friendly, lovely, helpful. Everything is so clean and tidy. From the moment I just knocked the door I felt st home with a big welcome and huge smile. The house is clean, the common area is quite and cosy, very comfortable.... More

Our stay at Tin House was by far the best place we've stayed in 12 months of Travel. Both Julie and Carlos make you feel welcome and will go to great lengths to assist you, if you have questions or need advice. The hostel is more like a guest house/B&B, nice cosy living room and great kitchen. The bunks and... More

What a pleasant surprise!! Feels like a bed and breakfast... Not a hostel!! The staff are great and the house is so cozy!! Fantastic kitchen to use and clean bathrooms! The best thing though is the homemade bread... Wow it is delicious! Would definitely recommend this spot to stay... A+++

This hostel is great, Julie is lovely. I stayed there just for one night, but I wish it would be more. It is a small hostel but perfect, you have everything, it is clean, the Internet was great. I would only name the same problem that other hostels have, the power outlets in the room, they are just a few.

Stayed here for three nights in Puerto Natales. It has a very home-y feel to it. It's small and quaint and everyone I met that stayed here were super nice - it has a good community vibe to it. Julie and Carlos, the people who run the hostal, are very nice as helpful. Julie answered all my questions about planning... More
