As soon as I stepped into the arranged transport from the airport I knew it was going to be special, because, as they say, it's the little things that count. A packed lunch was offered to me by the driver, who explained that it would take 2.4 hrs to reach the hotel. Like many in the hotel English was not... More

The Singular if a beautiful hotel, the common areas of which are housed in the historic buildings of a turn of the century meat packing and refrigeration plant. The old equipment has been lovingly restored, and is worth an hour's exploration. The bedrooms themselves are in a new building built on the foundations of the historic storage building and are... We have stayed in some unusual and interesting hotels over the years, but nothing quite like the Singular Hotel where we are now. It is only three years old, quite isolated (5km. from Porto Natale - but they have a shuttle bus connection), right on the waterfront, and housed in a converted slaughterhouse (yes - an abattoir!). Much of the... More

Make sure to request a room close to reception, as it is a long walk from the end of the hotel to the dining room. The room was very large and nice with a wonderful view of the water through the window that was the entire wall of the room. The service in the dining room and bar was terrible!... More

The Singular is the absolute best hotel we have ever been in. Impeccable service, and the most spectacular view. I would return to Patagonia just to sit back on the bed and look out the window. You have to experience it, to believe it. The entire hotel is converted from a factory but you walk through it, it is all... More

Patagonia is spectacular, and although this hotel is some distance from the park - Torres del Paine - it was one of the most special hotel experiences we have ever had - and we had plenty around the world!! The staff are exceptional. Very well trained, extremely helpful and always smiling. The food is superb. I tried everything from seafood... More

There is little to add to the many reviews that have been written for this hotel. It is a one-of-a-kind experience, there is no doubt about it. The location is amazing, the rooms are fantastic, the set up is impressive (although one cannot suppress a certain degree of irony given that one lodges in extreme luxury in a place that... More

Dear Madam/Sir, I would like to thank for all your comments even when some of them are not possitive, they'll help us to improve our service. We make bread for our restaurant but not the white bread you can find for breakfast. As you mentioned we have young staff working with us every season and we have to train them... More

Totally unexpected refurbishment of an old factory... From the outside a disaster, inside wonderfully comfortable, get views and excellent service. The spa is disappointing, the swimming pool a joke, but the rooms, bar, restaurant, etc. all very enjoyable. Just get one of their bikes, canoes, or go for a jog along the sea front for entertainment. Great for a short... More

The pictures included with this listing are great but it is even better in person. You can read about the history of the hotel in other listings so I will skip that and tell you about the creative beautiful finishes, wonderful beds, linens and views. You feel like you are on top of the fjord. Lots of metal, concrete and... More

Dear Madam, We all really appreciate your good comments about your stay with us. I am sorry for the overcooked lamb.
