the service is adequate , as well as his staff, is the only 4-star hotel in the city , is located at water's edge on the beach with a nice pool , tennis court and a restorant quality is the best hotel in town although their services might improve considering the price.

If you plan to come to Arica on business do not stay at this hotel. The internet is terrible and the service is just as bad. No matter where you are in the hotel your internet will not work which makes... work impossible. The staff at the bar couldn't wait to leave and their hospitality was below par. Do not... More

We stayed at the Panamericana Hotel in Arica for 3 nights. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms were small and a bit old and dated. There was also this musty smell that permeated rooms facing the ocean - which I know happens in a lot of older beach hotels - that could have been somewhat remediated.... More

As other reviewers wrote the place is quite out dated and in desperate need of maintenance. It is located near the beach with a nice view but the rooms are old and the bed is not really comfortable. Breakfast is lousy for the high price you pay. Service rather poor, no help with suitcases when having a room on second... More

Beautiful older hotel but not very helpful for the tourist .... desk without maps nor taxie information nor tourist info. Recommend make contact with a tour operater before arriving at the hotel. Also, can not walk to attractions.

We stayed twice in this hotel on out Chile trip for one night each. The hotel is at a nice location directly on the beach and when we opened the window we could hear the waves braking on shore. The reservation worked fine and the staff was friendly and helped out wherever they could. Their English was quite limited, but... More

We were here for a few nights. It is still a simple room for the price, but the room was clean and we liked being so close to the ocean. The bar was great and you can't beat having happy hour overlooking the ocean. They also served dinner on Sunday and few places do that. The desk was very nice... More

As everyone states it is a bit dated. We had a nice room with no complaints right on the ocean. I give it a four because the staff was so great and friendly, the hotel itself is closer to a three.Oscar, who checked us in and out along with helping out with anything we needed was great. I did not... More

This hotel was probably nice in the 60s but is now very rundown. The furniture is old and threadbare and painted a hideous green. This wasn't the worst part of staying here though. The staff were dreadful particulary in the bar. Service was non-existent. We were so disgusted with the place that we ate most of our meals elsewhere.
