On our previous visit two years ago I rated the Tara as excellent. I still think the hotel is very good value for money but it is now showing signs of wear and the breakfast is very average. Whilst we were there the front exterior of the hotel was been painted which was of no inconvenience, so maybe there is... More

This was our second choice of stay as the Pool and Palm Villa that we had wanted was fully booked. Anyway, Tara Angkor was not a disappointment. A good, clean place to stay as the housekeeping staff seems very enthusiastic in cleaning our rooms. They had actually came a few times in a day, but a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign... More

Our tour group stayed at this hotel for two nights. We liked the rooms and the breakfast. The pool was being resurfaced so if you wanted to swim they gave you a pass for a nearby hotel. It is close to the night market and Angkor Wat so we found it to be convenient. They are building many new hotels... More

This hotel was amazing! Lovely smells and flowers in the lobby, minutes from the Angkor temples, not far from the airport, a short strole into down town Angkor, or you can always opt for a tuktuk. The rooms were lovely, good air con (although on the loud side). Unfortunately the pool was being renovated during my stay there but we... More

A medium size hotel that provides good /friendly service, rooms adequate, amenities sufficient for short term stays. Staff very helpful, meals good quality and reasonably priced and eating can be done in zircon area or outdoors. Location average , however, a two US dollar trip to main shopping area very pleasing and National museum 500 metres away.

Not a lot to say about this hotel other than it ticked all the boxes for an international hotel. Good sized room and shower facilities. Good breakfast. Excellent wifi. Great pool area to relax after exploring main temples which are less than 20 minutes drive away. Tuk tuts available outside as well as cabs. Welcoming freindley staff. Would definitely stay... More

This is a very nice place to stay. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. The breakfast is good with a adequate spread and lot of fruits too. The location is good with shops and restaurants within walking distance though the city centre is a little away but can be reached in a... More

The service is commendable. From the airport transfer to accommodating all our requests, you can see the willingness of each staff to help you. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were clean with all the necessities you can find in a proper hotel. Breakfast spread was just enough not to confuse you. It has a balanced of Asian and Western combination.... More

We had 3 days in this hotel. It is a good hotel the rooms are large and comfortable the public areas are well decorated and very clean. It looks like a new hotel. I really don't understand why this hotel is not high rated. May be because is located not in the center. It is not a problem you can... More

Nice, clean hotel. I booked in for a few rest days and enjoyed relaxing, a reflexology massage and one of their 'bath' experiences, all very nice and reasonably priced. Lovely pool. Friendly staff. Restaurant ok - a bit dull compared to other places I have eaten here. I left a charger behind and returned the week after for it and... More
