great hotel, lovely staff and very pleasant atmosphere, the emphasis being on comfort & friendliness. the hotel is situated slightly out of town but that means its lovely and quiet. If you want to go into town the lodge runs a shuttle service both day and evening and if the times dont suit then there's always a tuk tuk outside... more

Hmmm! Very disappointing. Too far from everything! Located along a filthy road, rubbish and packs of wild dogs everywhere. Good variety of tours but very, very expensive by Cambodian standards - we ended up negotiating with a local tuk tuk driver we met one day and getting any of the same tours for about one third of what the lodge... more

The Lotus Lodge is a fantastic midrange accomodation situated just outside of Siem Reap but within a short distance of all the sites. They offer clean and spacious rooms including breakfast and free use of bycicles. The owner is Andre, a dutchman who married a Cambodian wife, Lilly and they are very friendly and helpfull.
