Everything I have read on this hostel is just what I received. The rooms are very clean, with very big lockers for any large luggage. The bathrooms were good - nothing too fancy but not old or dirty either. The only issue was that there was no hot water for the 2 days I had stayed. The atmosphere is really... More

Hi and thanks for the kind comments and the recommendation, Sorry about the hot water, we had an electrical problem with our system during an important Khmer public holiday which meant we couldn't immediately source new parts. It has now been fixed and is again hot and strong. At the Hostel, sure we get a happening young crowd here, but... More

This hostel has undoubtedly been the best hostel I've stayed in in SE Asia- the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the food is amazing!! That's before you meet the guys that work there, the atmosphere in the hostel is so friendly, and they make an effort to connect people while you are there. Happy hour helps of... More

After travelling through all of Asia, Siem Reap hostel ranks the best for me. It's a hostel in the truest sense: good atmosphere of travelers and conversation at the bar and they make it so easy to find activities in the city and book onward travel. It also helps that I think Siem Reap is the best city in SE... More

Thanks so much for saying - the Hostel was designed and built with the vision of creating exactly that - a comfortable and relaxed flashpackers with complete amenities including some you wont find anywhere else in SE Asia. Re your comments about food prices, we do provide an extensive buffet breakfast at $2 for our dorm guests and free for... More

Man, in Phnom Penh now after staying at the Siem Reap hostel and I'm so sad. Wish I could go back. I have to commend SR hostel for striking an awesome balance of relaxation and liveliness. There's enough space for everyone to do their own thing, if you want to party and meet people the bar/pool area is awesome. Feeling... More

Travelled to more than hundred cities, that's my first time to write a review. Should say thank you to The Siem Reap Hostel! Love The Siem Reap Hostel, even heavy rain almost every day during my visit to Siem Reap, the hostel made my journey unforgetable. They offer free airport transfer even I arrived alone and just stayed for three... More

I'd definitely recommend this hostel for your stay in Siem Reap. It's less than 10 minutes away from the markets and Pub Street. The reception were very helpful and organised our 2-day trip to Angkor temples with their tuk-tuk drivers. They also booked tuk-tuks for our airport transfer. The hostel itself is well planned with many chill-out areas, a pool,... More

Hi and thanks for taking the time to review us so kindly! Just to clarify, it's exactly 1 km from our front door to the start of Pub St - a 5 minute leisurely stroll will get you there or you can take a tuk tuk (for a buck during the day) if you couldn't be bothered walking. Such a... More

I stayed in this hostel 4 weeks for volunteering in SR. It was a great place to relax after work, especially with the swimming pool!! Guss and Driess, the Australian managers, where very welcoming and always willing to help. The breakfast costs only 2 dollar and is really delicious, with pancakes. It's also very close to the heart of the... More

This hostel is very popular and I understand why, it just wasn't our favourite. We had a private double bed room which was nice and spacious, clean, with good storage and a nice balcony, although narrow. The beds are very high and I’m very short, but the real problem was it was two singles pushed together (as a lot are... More

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to review us. Your comments are extensive - I'll answer them point by point: We usually get nothing but praise for our comfortable beds - they are high in order to accommodate lockers underneath providing extra security for you. You were here during the most important annual Buddhist festivals in Cambodia -... More

Although not that modern, this hostel has the lot! It's clean, safe, good fun and comfortable. The bar/pool area is the perfect chill out area let it be to read your book, go down and get talking to other travellers over a beer or go for a swim, it's perfect. The rooms are well equipped and beds are comfortable. The... More

Thanks for the perfect score and the kind words. The continued support and appreciation guests are showing has recently allowed us to improve staff pay and leave conditions to well above local standards. The Hostel has a strong charter of socially responsible employment and we now have maternity, paternity and annual leave schemes for our hard working team. As the... More

We had private double bed room. Big bed, clean, hot shower, air con. Very nicely decorated. The best room on our trip :). So i would definitely recommend it. Free breakfast, free laundry. Staff is really nice and helpful, always smiling. Few minutes walk from the old market and pub street. One thing i didn't like. There's a sign on the... More

Thanks for the review and the great comments and score. Our cleaning staff have been reminded of the importance of security of our guests and I'll be checking on them to make sure all rooms are properly secured on exiting.
