I originally wanted to stay in mad monkey but it was fully booked but this was a great choice! I stayed in May, when it was baking hot so the pool was a must have!! It is really clean and a nice temperature! I stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm which was really clean and the aircon was great.... More

On a three-week trip, I spent the most time in Siem Reap and staying at the Siem Reap Hostel was a great decision. The dorm was very comfortable, but it's the other aspects that add value to the experience of the Siem Reap Hostel. Their tuk-tuk tours are good value (you can hire a guide separately if you want to),... More

My friends and I stayed here from May 12 to May 14. Great place to stay with friends. We were a group of 6 so we got the dormitory type room which will cost you $10 a night. The room has three double deck beds with our own private comfort rooms (the toilet and shower is separate by the way).... More

Really enjoyed this relaxed, quiet hostel. I could sit for hours reading in a fabulous genuinely khmer atmosphere. Receptionists were all khmer people with excellent english. They organised anything we needed regarding tuk-tuks or tours etc.

Excellent hostel with a pool and bar area. It is a social hostel, but not too loud at all. There is a pool table and yoga room as well. The pool is shaded, but that is nice after a hot day visiting the temples. Walking distance to pub street. They picked us up at the airport for free. It was... More

Me and my friend stayed here for a few nights. The dorms are spacious and clean. The pool is very nice... especially since its very hot in Siem Reap. The tours they offer are worth it: the boards were you can put your name on to share a taxi are a good idea! Downside: the staff isnt always very friendly... More

Hi, Thanks for the kind words. Basic? Really? The SRH has the BEST and most extensive facilities in SEA! Undercover pool (great in the tropical Cambodian heat), cinema. yoga room, pool and foosball tables, chill spaces, AC rooms with cranking, hot showers, bar and restaurant with a great selection of music - just to name the in-house things-to-do! The overwhelming majority... More

My friend and I had an overall great experience at this hostel. Room was clean with air conditioning. The hostel had tours and tuktuks available which made exploring Siem Reap/Angkor Wat easy and fun (since you could tour with others from the hostel). A friend recommended that we stay here and I would definitely pass that recommendation on!

I stayed 2 nights at this hostel with my friend and we took the mixed dorm because the female form was full. I love how the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The tours they provided are also very good and very worth the price. Our tuktuk driver/guide Mr. Vuthy took us around the Angkor Wat and managed to cram... More

I stayed in a private room of The Siem Reap Hostel for three nights. The location is very good, close to downtown. The service was fair, even arranged a free tuk-tuk pickup at the airport (most of the hostels will do this for you). The staff was generally very friendly and polite. Only in one case I missed some flexibility:... More
