This hotel was very nice (other reviewers descriptions are pretty accurate), but seemed to be a bit rough around the edges. We were surprised, given that it is not that new, and it is on the expensive side for Siem Reap. The few things that went wrong are as follows: Our room was one of the two ground floor rooms.... My first solo trip ever and I chose to go to Siem Reap as I was fascinated by the Angkor Wat temples. Chose Viroth over a number of other options that I considered. Although Viroth was slightly more expensive than the other hotels, I am so glad I went with Viroth as it was the coolest, safest, friendliest place I... More

One of the highlights of our stay in SE Asia was at the Viroth, a gorgeous and personable hotel on a pleasant street only a short walk to the centre of Siem Reap. The rooms are spacious and well-designed (as is the whole hotel), the pool is lovely, the rooftop bar and jacuzzi is very nice indeed. The staff are... More

Viroth's hotel is a great option in Siem Reap. It only has 7 rooms, so we found it very quiet. The small pool is great after a day exploring Angkor. Location is only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Siem Reap. Rooms are clean, comfortable and pretty sylish. Breakfasts on the top floor were good. Only downside was... More

Stayed here in mid August while exploring the temples of Cambodia, and thoroughly enjoyed it! We were in room seven, which had a nice view of the Bopha Hotel's pool, next door. The shower was very pleasant, and we loved having real water pressure after traveling in se asia for 2 weeks prior. The breakfast was also great, served on... More

The photos on the hotel's Web site pretty much say it all -- the rooms are great and the overall feeling of the hotel is very cool. As everyone else has said, the margaritas at the rooftop bar are incredible, and the croissants at breakfast were out of this world. The location is close enough to the Old Market area... More

Stayed for a quick 3 night tour of Angkor Wat. Absolutely great stay, just what we needed after long days touring the temples of Angkor. They set us up with a great tour guide, Nurren (sp?), who took us around for 2 days. We saw everything, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the sites of the area. Request him, he... More

Stayed 4 relaxing nights. Hotel has only 7 rooms so it was quiet, private, and service was very personable. It's a 5 minute walk to the old market & restaurants. Prior to arriving, I was concerned about the distance to town, but it really is only 5 minutes. There's a small supermarket on the way. Rooms are large, bed is... More

A very friendly, helpful staff who helped us plan each day. With less than 10 rooms, it felt like we were the only ones there. Only a 5min walk to the Old Market area, restaurants, shops.

Our stay at the Viroth Hotel was wonderful. We enjoyed every minute of this new concept hotel which caters to young couples and stylish crowds. The hotel is very private, and feels more like a home rather than a hotel. Only 8 rooms on a total of 3 floors, so it's never too crowded. The uber-stylish rooms are very spacious... More
