Very happy with our three day stay at the Claremont - our first visit to Siem Reap - having booked the hotel based on other reviews. We weren't disappointed!! The room was quite large with comfy bed etc, air conditioner worked wonders and the en-suite was fantastic. Just across the river from the post office and five minutes by tuk... more

The staff of this hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, but then they have been trained well by the Australian hotel owners. Restaurant is at the top of the hotel which gives you a panoramic view of the district. Good breakfast, internet and pool, although a little warm when we were there. more

A friend and I stayed at Claremont Angkor Hotel in April 2009. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable, with the nice touch of a quilt/doona instead of the tightly-tucked hospital blankets found at most hotels. Hot water does not run out after 5 minutes either, as frequently occurs in many places in SE Asia. The premises are kept... more

Overall, a very pleasant stay - rooms were great with plenty of space and cupboards, clean, refrigerator & good bathroom. The pool was good, but needs some greenery/plants to add to its ambience. Staff were helpful & friendly, and internet was okay for our needs. Breakfast (omelette) was fine, but fruit breakfast was ordinary (small banana and couple of pieces... more

Arrived with my four girlfriends at Siam Reap airport and was happy to see transport was already awaiting to take us to Claremont Angkor Hotel. Checking in was done smoothly and by friendly staff. Room were clean and spacious. Loved the East India restaurant located at 6th floor of the hotel. Food was simply great and it was like having... more

Arrived by bus and they were there to pick us up. Rooms were ready and clean. Nothing fancy but not bad at all. Breakfast simple but satisfying. Great home base to visit Siem and Ankor. Helped book bus tickets on to Thai border and Bangkok with no surcharge. Would highly reccomend and return again. more

We picked this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor and we weren't dissapointed. Its a small back street but within wlking distance of the town and busy restaurant area. The rooms were clean and tidy, only gripe was that it took at least ten minutes for water to get warm, but most days it was so hot it didn;t... more

One year ago I visited the Claremont Angkor Hotel and gave it 5 stars for its value, cleanliness, comfort and great location. I returned a year later and the quality has continued. I found the restaurant food is a bit better; it now has great Indian cuisine. One area that needs improvement is the breakfast (included). For the $$$ this... more

First impressions were awful as the hotel forgot to pick us up at the airport as arranged and confirmed by email. It was midnight so, we were not impressed. There were a lot of taxi drivers around bothering us for our business incessantly. Fortunately Cambodia is fairly safe and we never had any issues throughout the trip. The people are... more

Hands down the best place to stay in Siem Reap. Was so impressed, I extended my 3 day stay to 5. New hotel with nice amenities. Quiet. A block away from busy streets but a short stroll to pub street and other attractions. you hardly hear the hum of the traffic while enjoying a breakfast or dinner on their roof... more
