We had 36 hours in Siem Reap. Our focus was going to Ankgor Wat and the surrounding temples. This place was ideal for just that! It is the closest hotel to the pyramids. They offer really affordable food, rooms, massages, and cocktails too! I suggest the four hand massage...I think it is around 30 usd for an hour and a... More

We stayed for two nights in order to see Angkor wat, booking only a few days before so we were limited in our options but we weren't disappointed! We were collected by a very friendly tuktuk driver who became our personal driver for the trip all arranged through the resort and our collection paid for too. The bungalow was nice,... More

We spent three nights here while we explored Angkor Wat and couldn't have been happier. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food great, and the room super. The only 'bad' thing was that we stayed in the room right by the restaurant and reception, which meant being woken up pretty early, but we're early risers anyway so... More

The Palm Village in Siem Reap is a small privately operated resort comprised of 18 bungalows of various sizes, along with a spa, restaurant, pool and nicely manicured grounds in a walled and secure compound. You will find an authentic colonial experience, that is not only comfortable and quiet, but also true to the region's humble homes (a la bungalows... More

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is off the beaten track, close to the temples but a $6 return journey into town. Rooms are good and clean, showers very basic. Water is hot but jet not powerful. Pool is cold at this time of year but the setting is beautiful. Staff is very nice. Food is good.... More

A friend and I stayed at the Palm Village for a few days in mid November. I have to say I had been quite concerned about mosquitos knowing they can be carriers of viruses one would do their best to avoid. With no word of a lie, we had more mosquitos on our bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh... More

Now I know you are to expect bugs, mosquitoes and all sorts of creatures in Cambodia but for me it made my stay unbearable. All areas except for the rooms are open so there are mosquitoes EVERYWHERE you can't get away from them. If you don't like insects, frogs, crabs (in the swimming pool) then this is not the place...
