we had a pretty bad first night we landed pretty late into Siem Reap and by the time we got to the hotel we had been traveling for 18 hours all we wanted to do was get into our room shower and go to sleep. when we got to our room and our air-conditioner didn't work, our mini fridge didn't... More

We just checked out and I'm pretty sure we could have stayed somewhere better during our stay in Siem Reap. I think this hotel makes its money from tour groups rather than individual customers so it felt that their standards were not what they should be for 4*. The whole building was a bit tired and outdated. Firstly the room... More

From the photos, this hotel looked grand but when I arrived, it was...okay. Style-wise, it's not modern, it seems like it got stuck at 10 years ago - the lift was all glass, rickety, slow and can only fit two people. I was corresponding with Miss Men Vannida about 7 months prior to my trip. I explained to her few... More

Arrived at the Angkor hotel to find a nice big hotel & pleasant staff, good sized rooms & nice comfortable bed.. Quiet location not far from pub street & the markets a Tuk Tuk will cost you $2 dollars to reach the nightlife of pub street etc.. Nice big pool & quietly situated at the back of the hotel, breakfast... More

Good hotel with massive pool that would grace any 4/5 star major hotel chain. Wifi good, showers excellent, rooms spacious and many (like mine) with nice pool view. Staff friendly and keen to please. Masseuse excellent but painful if you have as many knotted muscles as me. Some of the power points in the room looked as if they needed... More

The Allson Angkor Hotel is in a great location away from the busy tourism hub but close enough that a tuk tuk can get you anywhere you want in a few minutes. The buffet breakfast has western and eastern food and also caters for vegetarians. One thing to be aware of is the hot water is not what you may... More

The Allson Angkor is a fine hotel in Siem Reap from which to explore the magnificent temples of Cambodia. The rooms are neat and nice and the staff extremely helpful. The breakfast was very satisfying too but vegetarian options in the a la carte dinner were limited. This hotel can be a fine starting point from which to visit various... More

My last stay here was august 2007,its still a pleasant hotel for the price. Maybe its not quite 4 star as advetised, but I find nothing wrong with it here. If you pay their own sites online price, its expensive. But If you hunt around online ,you can almost half that price. Im paying only $32 a double at the moment, and I... More

Someone on this trip told me that the average length of stay in Cambodia was 2.5 days. Plane loads of tourists depart from Seoul or Hong Kong arrive in Siem Reap, do two days touring the temples of Angkor Wat by bus and then depart. This hotel caters to that tourist crowd. The lobby seemed alway full of either people... More

From the hotel website, it looks nice with those pictures. I would say the hotel is decent but over it's prime era. Please do no confuse with their sister hotel, Paradise Angkor which is located just down the same street. The receptionists are friendly people but speak limited English, however, they are trying their best to understand English and offer... More
