We arrived at this hotel using the free airport pick-up service offered by the hotel, so we arrived by tuk-tuk which was great! Check in was fairly simple and we were taken to our room, way up on the 4th floor, there is no lift here so the stairs are not too fun with luggage to carry! The rooms were... More

Golden Orange hotel was absolutely terrible hotel.Staff busy on phones,WiFi was not work even in reception,no electric sockets working in the room.Booked a room with balcony, balcony was not private and no access from room. Two shower heads in a bathroom and no hot water. We paid 30 euro per night and there are far better hotels for less money.

I brought a group of 10 people to stay at the Golden Orange. We were made very welcome. The rooms were a good size, simply furnished but comfortable. There was a good supply of hot water in the shower. A TV with a wide choice of channels and free wifi throughout the hotel were a real bonus. Breakfast was limited... More

Lets be fair about this,if you pay 18 USD per night you are not going to get the Hilton. It is situated in a quiet location and whilst basic was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very professional, polite and extremely friendly.Breakfast was included in the price and was adequate.Short tuc tuc ride to Pub Street in the evening. All in all... Location. It's 20 minutes away from Siem Reap International Airport by cab and 15 minutes by tuktuk to Pub street . Facilities. We booked a standard double room. A/C was not that cold though we had it set on colder temperature. We didn't bother checking the TV channels as were not there to watch anyway. Heater was functional. However the... More

I hate to have a write a bad review but this hotel is not recommended. I felt my room was not clean-it was actually pretty bad. There were live bugs in the room and dead bugs smashed against the wall. I have traveled throughout southeast asia so I understand budget hotels but I have never encountered this. The staff was... It seemed as though the staff here considered hotel guests to be a major inconvenience to their own activities. This was a shame given that I had such good experiences in Siem Reap besides that. Clean bed linen and towels is a minimum standard for an arriving guest but the staff didn't really understand that. I'm always surprised when hotel... More

Don't even know where to begin or how to describe my experience. Dirty-dirty-dirty on all levels....there's not enough time to write out all the dirty details and certainly not enough space on this review to go into it. Loud-loud-loud from the staff playing pool well into the night (3am-ish) and heavy traffic on such a tiny street. Night staff was... More

This Hotel has just changed ownership (3 weeks ago) and has a name change to the 'loving Angkor hotel' if taxis don't know where it is then ask to go to the golden orange hotel (it is the same place). We stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were welcoming and the room was very comfortable, spacious, air-conditioned and clean. There... More

Staying here at the moment! Would have left but for booking.com charging us full amount Paid more for a deluxe which had the added benefit of having a bath tub. However there was no tap to fill the bath just a shower that had to be hand held! Only one tap in the sink so cannot get hot water if... More
