A very pretty hotel in a good location - it's down a quiet little side street lit with chinese lanterns, just over the river from the old market (ie 3 mins walk from the centre of Siem Reap) Rooms arranged round a courtyard with a swimming pool in the centre. Ours had a little upstairs sitting room with balcony overlooking... more

I stayed here with my husband and 2 children (ages 7 and 12) for 4 nights. We paid $25 for one room and $28 for the other room. It was great value for money, and the pool area was especially lovely. It was a real haven from the heat and dust, after a morning of sightseeing. The staff were very... more

If you're looking for value for money you'll be head over heels in love with the GB. It's so cute and the staff are so lovely...a wonderful place to stay. It is at once romantic but also playful and lively. I would recommend a room that could have a balcony overlooking the pool. Truly a highlight for me. more

Friendly staff, great location, all the I wants. Food, cool pool and easy stroll to the city centre. We were really impressed and would certainly visit again. Pricing was reasonable but you can find cheaper in the area. more

You'll need the pool in this town as it's hot and after a day at the temples you're exhausted. We had an upstairs room over the pool that was pretty and filled with light, although the shower layout flooded the entire bathroom. The staff is friendly here. Our only complaint was the breakfast was very limited, pretty poor quality and... more

This is the only place to stay if you're going to see Angkor Wat! This little gem is tucked away in the heart of the city. Twisting and turning through the dirty streets I became worried that we had made the wrong choice, but when we turned the corner it was like night and day. The Boutique itself is breathtaking.... more

I don't know what else i can add to the other reviews. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Golden Banana. The staff and facility was great. The staff hooked us up with a great tour guide and tuk-tuk drivers. We liked them so much we engaged their services for 4 days. I will pass on the guides info as soon... more

We had a blast at the Golden Banana. It felt like an oasis amidst the action in Siem Reap. After long, hot touring days we loved hanging out by the pool sipping wonderful concoctions and eating delicious appetizers. The breakfast was great and the staff was wonderful. One rainy, rainy night my 2 kids sat at a bar and learned... more

Our room was super cute with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful (if you're worried about English proficiency, most of the staff spoke English very well - no need for charades!). They can hook you up with good, affordable tours around Siem Reap (not limited to Angkor Wat). Food was good (especially the Ma Ma soup and... more

We stayed at the newer boutique resort which is next door to the hotel, and the rooms were lovely. The staff are great, all in all v good value, one small downside is the area around the pool can feel a bit claustrophobic when everyone is out as its a small area, however, its a small hotel so...not really a... more
