There's a delay when checking in into the hotel. Fortunately the wood-based furniture and decoration at the lobby impressed us a lot. The staff greeted us politely, even though they can't speak fluent English. The prices of coffee & pastry makes your eyeballs drop. You'll start sweating when reading the menu ;-)

Myself and my wife visited Cambodia and Thailand in May of this year. During the Cambodia leg of our holiday we stayed at the Somadevi Angkor for 4 nights. The hotel is old style but modern. Our room overlooked the large pool. The pool area and the pool bar were just the place for chilling out after a day visiting... More

The Somadevi Angkor Hotel was quite a disappointment. On the upside, the location is quite good and very central to most things, but there's so much wrong going on here I'm sorry to say, let me count the ways: 1. WiFi - in summary, dreadful. Easily the slowest I've ever experienced. The good news is adjacent to the hotel there... More

Gave this hotel 5 stars as for $50 night its a bargain. Huge pool area with many sunlounges, good and varied breakfast included, ideal location close to pub street but away from the noise. ther are shops, restaurants, supermarkets , masage all within 50m. Only negative is very odd decor in bathroom, but room is clean and great size. highly... More

Great pool great room excellent service excellent location. I booked this hotel early and recieved an excellent deal. This was probably the best hotel I stayed in during my Thailand Vietnam and Cambodia trip.It was definitely the best value. There was a wide choice for the buffet breakfast which changed daily. The hotel is a short walk to pub street... More

The hotel gives the impression of being a five star establishment when first entering the lobby. While the service or rooms don't quite live up to the initial lobby impressions, it is still provides an acceptable level of service and amenities at about 4 star quality. The rooms were spacious with good wifi. The breakfast buffet was very good in... More

We recently spent four nights at the Somadevi. We found the room to be very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay alot. The location is within walking distance of the markets and main restaurant areas. If you don't want to walk you can catch a Tuk Tuk to get there for... More

I had 2 nights in this hotel and the services are quite good. Even so the WiFi is bad and I need to pay quite some Money to get the fast ones which unfortunately is charged. Overall it is a decent hotel and nice for a family

We spent 4 nights at the Somadevi Hotel Resort and Spa in Siem Reap and found the hotel to be excellently located to all major attractions of Siem Reap. Within walking distance to the old market, pub street, restaurant street and the night markets. Tuktuks and taxis were readily available to take you to Angkor Wat (world heritage site) and... More

The hotel is located a very short walk to the markets and pub street. I found the in room dining and breakfast to be simple but sufficient. The pool and swim up bar were great especially after a long day at the temples. Front desk service was very efficient and the staff were all very pleasent. I would recommend to... More
