Joffrey Gris perfects the art of hospitality here. His "rhythm" of running a boutique hotel (staff's attention to detail, courteous and friendly assistance, etc.) makes this place a true gem. I agree with the other reviewers and was grateful to have the opportunity to stay here. Stayed in Villa #14 which was perfect, loved the rain-forest shower and layout of... more

Having stayed at 5 star hotel in Singapore previous night, arrived outside 'La Maison' a little apprehensive wondering what was on the other side of the bushy setting just off the busy main highway. Along a pepple path and into another world of old charm and hospitality, what a lovely experience A1 reception, then past the inviting pool and to... more

We spent 3 nights at La Maison D'Angkor and loved every minute of it. The small setting provides a perfect escape from the intensity of SR and busy days of temple viewing. The rooms are tastefully done, and the facilities (including spa, jacuzzi and swimming pool) were first class. The staff were great - eager to please, friendly and well... more

We stayed in Siem Reap for eight days. It was a little wet - as it was the rainy season. The staff were great. Friendly and ready to answer any question at a moments notice. Our room was fantastic, comfortable and full of charm. The bathroom was delightful and modern. After a full day at the temples the balcony was... more

A boutique hotel with enormous charm and extreamly friendly staff. The facilities were first rate and the gardens were mature and beautiful. Not a place to stay if you are looking for a 5 star international chain, this is much more low key and in my opinion better because of that. more

Le Maison d'Angkor is on the main route from the airport, but is a surprising oasis of lush greenery set back from the road. There are several little white houses with balconies facing the pool. The pool is really the center of the hotel, with the small bar, restaurant, PC and main lobby all connected to the area. They have... more

We had a wonderful time. The rooms, service, and meals more than met our expectations. The driver and guide arranged thru the hotel spoke excellent English and were extremely knowledgeable and patient. It was a great place to relax at the end of our temple tours-and loved watching the geckos run on the windows and walls. Bob more

We stayed at this resort during low season and as a result, it was very peaceful and we had the lovely pool to ourselves most of the time. The room was modern and clean, and period in style, consistent with the overal colonial period feel of the resort. The location was just out of town, so nice and peaceful and... more

The hotel itself is lovely - nicely fit-out, immaculately clean, and friendly staff. it is quiet and intimate and a great place to relax in the pool after a day at the temples. The downside for me was that it was just too far from the centre of town - a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride, and although the hotel organises... more
