We visited Cambodia this January, 2009. The accomodation as presented on the website was very accurate and met our expectation. The staff was hospitable and ready to help. When we reached the hotel at around 9 am, since the rooms were not ready, they suggested that we visit the Tonle sap Lake. On return we had lunch at the hotel,... more

I was a tad hesitant after reading some of the reviews here but it was quite a pleasant stay. We arrived at about 08:30 AM and asked if it was ok to leave our bags there while we went off as check in is not until 2 PM but we were told we could go straight to our room. It... more

A friend ask me once, "when was the last time you did somethng for the first time?" Here is a first and definitely worth the experience. Our trip to Vietnam and Camboda last September 2008 was the first time my husband and i based all our travel arrangements on tripadvisors's review. needless to say, we were very happy with our... more

The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance to all the centre of the town. the hotel itself was spotlessly clean and i thought it was great value. I paid about $30 a night for a double room, although i noticed the walk in prices were more than double this rate so book ahead on their website.... more

A well situated hotel , a 10 minute walk from the ‘French Colonial’ part of the town where the best restaurants are to be found full of life and atmosphere. The room we had (306) was large with air conditioning and on the whole was comfortable. Unfortunately the view from the window was of the glass and concrete wall of... more

Angkor Star is located at a great location where it is within walking distance to the old market, there are many food stalls along the road as well. I booked the room thru AirAsia travel package with a better price compared to walk-in guest. The stay also include buffet breakfast in the morning, but flies are everywhere in the cafe.... more

There were three in our family group and we had a very nice suite with two large rooms. The hotel was clean and has a nice atmosphere; the pool area was pleasant. Breakfast was above average for a three star hotel and the staff were very pleasant. Don't be put off by reports of stained linen - there is likely... more

This hotel is in a good location but I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone. There was a great deal of mold growing in several locations in the bathroom! We (3 guests) ran out of toilet paper and they would bring us one roll! The sheets were stained! On the stair case leading to the lobby,... more
