We stayed at the Royal Bay for three nights in February. It's in a quieter location of Siem Reap but within easy access to the busy central area. The hotel itself is very pleasant with it's gardens, central pool and terrace restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room on the first floor was spacious and well-equipped, with a balcony... The hotel is very close to town yet in a tranquil setting. All rooms face the pool with ground floor rooms having a small private garden and first floor rooms a small balcony. Food and drink are expensive by Cambodian standards. I would recommend that you make your own arrangements for drivers and guides for sightseeing, as the hotel prices... More

This small colonial style hotel in the heart if Siem Reap is a great place to relax and unwind. Within walking distance of a number of attractions - the night market and the museum, it is only a short tuk tuk ride to others. It is quiet and has a great swimming pool in a courtyard garden. The rooms are... More

We loved our stay at the Royal Bay Inn. The rooms were comfy and well-appointed; the garden and pool area were delightful. We were within an easy walk of the downtown area but we were on a safe quiet street. This is a great base for exploring the temples in the surrounding area. More

The hotel is located in the main part of town but in a quiet section...not outside of town like some of the 5 star hotels, and not right next to the noisy, crowded market area, but it's a 15 minute walk or a $2 tuk-tuk ride to the market. Breakfast was excellent, the room was good...nothing too fancy, but no... More

We stayed at the Royal Bay Inn for 5 nights while we saw the sites of Siem Reap ( Temples 3 days and out to the coubtry side for 2). We loved it, we would go to the temples in the morning and be back by the pool by 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Sometimes we were the only... More

Loved it. I used the Royal Bay to accommodate my group of 15. It was away from the bustling centre of Siem Reap but close enough to take a Tuk Tuk in for $1. The rooms were clean and large. The restaurants were modest but the food was excellent. Close to the FCC and river. My only gripe was the... More

Great location, easy walking distance 10-15 mins or short tuk tuk from anywhere in town, very polite and welcoming staff. Lovely rooms, spacious and comfortable, excellent buffet breakfast especially the noodle soup! Fabulous pool, which although we visited in peak season, was never busy, always a sun-lounger available. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been... More

we arrived in Cambodia after the madness of Hanoi & Hoi An ; it was disconcerting passing by 5 star hotel after 5 star hotel on the way to this one, but i must say, i was pleasantly surprised. They must all rate themselves, because by our Australian standards, this is NOT a four star hotel! However, it is set... More

This hotel was shortlisted by my office UN FAO, i was pleasantly surprised with the reasonable price (Corporate rates) and also the service, pleasant rattan furniture - breakfast was decent. Location wise it was also close to the main pub scene's yet it was in a very quiet location. Had a decent pool, nice balcony and well maintained bathroom. More
