This place is fine for a 18 year old looking to get wasted on the roof every night but for someone who wants a nice place to stay don't waste your sleep. This place had party animals coming in still at five am When we went to watch sunrise at the temples. I also thought the staff was quite rude.

Yea, what I learned in traveling is generally you get what you pay for. There's a lot of beds in this hostel/guesthouse ranging from 1 dollar out door beds to 12 dollar private rooms. The rooms were not very clean and my room got swarmed with bed bugs. Everyone in my room got them. The people who worked the reception... More

We were told about this place by a friend and so gave it a go. It's really cheap and has everything you need. We stayed in the dorms with air con and the bathroom was hardly cleaned but the beds were comfy and there were big lockers to house all your things. It was great having the upstairs bar and... More

This guesthouse has everything from $1 mattress on the floor with mosquito nets to $4 air conditioned dorm rooms to $13 private rooms. There are tons of mosquitos so NEVER leave your windows or doors open at night, even if you are on the top floor. There is a rooftop bar where I would usually get a good breakfast. The... More

We booked online through agoda but on arrival the guesthouse had 'not seen' our booking and so not kept a room free. The lady who works on reception was very helpful and sorted the error by giving us the most expensive room ($20 private double room with private bathroom and aircon) for the night at no extra charge the next... Enjoyed staying here. We were in a big dorm, very spacious, good quality bunk beds, with a fan above the bed, for $3 each per night. My friend's fan didn't work. Each bed has a personal light above it for reading in the dark, and a safety box behind (no padlock provided). Mosquitos EVERYWHERE in the bathroom/shower. My bed had... More

$8USD a night for a ground floor, large, really clean room with fan and own beautiful bathroom. In six weeks I was away this time, this is the best room I had anywhere. Hot shower, comfy bed, friendly staff, good food, good location. This place makes THE BEST cheeseburger I have ever tasted, ANYWHERE! They have a great rooftop bar... More

Cheapest in town and very good people. Cheapest beer. Like 50cent an "angkor" draft beer! You need a mosquito repelent of course...... More

I think looking at other reviews and speaking to people we met there the rooms vary quite a bit in quality it doesn't matter what you pay they will give you whatever. We got the short straw, I have NEVER seen more mosquitos in one room in my life, My girlfriend and i spent 1 hour going rambo, we must... More

Garden Village is one of the best places we stayed in asia. We had one of the new deluxe rooms with aircon and those rooms are absolutely perfect! They are so beautiful and clean. But even when you're on a low budget you can get "rooms" for just $1. They have lots of different types in between. Just look up... More
