This was disappointing. We booked online for the location, but would not recommend the hotel - there are other hotels in the same area. The room was large, but poorly appointed and not so clean. The bathroom / bedroom fittings are old. Two requests we had were denied by the Front Office staff with the reason of "the owner doesn't... More

Very-centrally located in Siem Reap. Close to all the restaurants and markets. Far enough away to be unaffected by the noise or crowds of Pub Street. Gorgeous big room. Air-con, wifi, safe. Spotlessly clean. I did not have a room with a balcony and I expect that that would have been an improvement but it did not affect my stay.... More

We stayed here for three nights - the hotel is clean and well located, and staff are very friendly. Also the internet works well. I'm only giving it four stars because the breakfast was a bit poor - not very much fruit for a country that has ridiculous amounts of wonderful fruit - and the gym was a total health... More

The hotel is right in the old market area and 100m from pub street which is very handy for restaurants. The décor is French colonial and is well presented. The free wifi worked well and the buffet breakfast was quite good. Large comfortable rooms and excellent service made it a pleasant place to stay and would definitely stay here again.

I would like to recommend Mr Sithan Prak from the Steung Siemreap Hotel. His work at the front desk of the hotel was suburb. Sithan was extremely helpful, friendly, organised and reliable. It made our stay at the Steung not just good, but excellent. Simon Mechis

Was in Siem Reap with my pal to see Angkor Wat and we chose the Steung SiemReap (means "River of Siam's defeat"). Although a small hotel, the ever friendly and helpful staff members made our stay pleasant. They helped arranged for a short Angkor tour which includes must-see places like Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Elephant Terrace and Ta... More

I wanted to write a review on this place when we stayed there, but it was not an option at the time and I did not know how to add a place. Anyway, we flew in for a long weekend to tour the ruins and relax. We took a tuk tuks from the airport. The reception was warm and inviting.... More

A classic European style hotel in 2 sections, either very well maintained or newly renovated, right near the old market area and Pub Street. Beautiful timberwork throughout. Stayed in a very spacious deluxe corner room, with two balconies, including glass doors, timber shutters and curtains. All facilities excellent, including bed, aircon, bathroom. About $50AUD per night Very quiet (far enough... More

Stayed here for 4 nights obviously to visit Angkor What, the hotel is very clean and of good standard. Near Pub Street and just down the road from the night markets. All road facing rooms have double glazing doors which cuts down the traffic and night club noise. The staff are really accommodating and friendly. It will cost you 5$US... More

Excellent location, close to everything you require, old and night markets, shops, restaurants, pub street, fish massage, and the Blue Pumpkin if you like ice cream! The room was great, we had a balcony that overlooked the street in the building that had breakfast and pool. I think some rooms overlook the pool or pagodas. They supply toothbrushes, razor, shower... More
