I wouldn't stay here again. I would eat here because the food was delicious but the rooms were cramped, stale. The bathroom smelled. But worst of all we don't think they change the bed linen between guests, at least every time. My daughter left her passport hidden in the pillow case in one room. We switched to a different room... Hi Madonna, Thank you for taking time to write a review for us. We are happy you enjoyed our wonderful food and sad you didn't enjoy our traditional Khmer house rooms. It appears there was some confusion between the cleaning staff and reception regarding your passport as it was reported. Be rest assured all our rooms linen is fully replaced... More

The staff is not friendly, like not motivated at all, they never smile. The room is dark and smelly, because of no fresh air. The shower didnt work. Bed hard, pillows thick and hard. No room service at all, even not toilet paper and the trash bin (we stayed there 4 nights). You can find better deals in Siem Reap.... More

Hi Cakati, Thank you for your review. We do our best to try and keep everyone happy but sometimes in the middle of high season we aren't able to give everyone the personal service we strive for. We are sorry about that. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and social guest house "A place where travellers meet" so we... More

We stayed here for 5 nights while touring the temples. There are no aires and graces about this place, I wouldn't say it was fantastic, but I would say that it is functional and suited our needs which were 1 - central location 2 - cheap 3 - relatively clean 4 - safe. If you are paying 10(ish) dollars a... More

Ivy Guesthouse is a really good value, and it has a great location. It's just a short walk to the old market/pub street. I've been there a number of times now, and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

We spent the first two nights in an air-con room which was alright (clean enough for southeast asia standards, but really dark). Then we moved to a fan room and you could immediately see the difference (cleanliness dropped, beds were uncomfortable and maybe bed bugs). Staff were unfriendly, arrogant and not helpful at all - seams like being mentioned in... More

Ivy offers a very nice looking guesthouse in a convenient location in Siem Reap. They also have all the means to offer backpackers everything they need whilst staying in this cool place in Cambodia; they have good food (though a bit pricey as compared to other places around town), rooms quite basic but everything works and it is relativy clean... Our first room: Hoping our fan would't collapse from wall (very noisy, so turned off at night) Ants in every corner of the room Small bathroom (couldn't close door while in it) After complaining we got an other room with even more visitors: Again, ants. Whole night we had mice running in our room. Worst of all, their reaction when... More

Bed bugs! I have not being bitten much on my Asia travel and when I do they don't bother me but since we stayed here I was bitten all over my ankles and with bites which are most certainly bed bug bites, would never stay in this hostel again and with rooms rarely cleaned if ever! And the bathrooms full... More

Worst experience ever with a guesthouse in Asia. First they gave us the wrong room because the room we booked wasn't available anymore. After a lot of complaining they promised to move us to an other room the next night. Room was dirty, bathroom was full of ants and there was no fan but just ventilators that were to noisy... More
