Stayed here for the last three nights of our holiday. It was the perfect end. We were spoiled rotten. This hotel is amazing, from the moment you arrive, or are collected at the airport you are treated like royalty. Th emanager made a point of welcoming us personally, while we had our arrival drink. The rooms are really fab, with... more

We stayed three nights using it as a base for visiting the temples at Angkor Wat. Our first room faced Highway 6 which although not very noisy was not as good as the rooms facing the pool to which we changed. The breakfast and lunches were very good with plenty of choice - both Cambodian and western. more

We stayed for two nights and three days at the Royal Angkor Resort and the luxurious hotel served as our base for forays into Angkor. Its location, opposite the Cambodian Cultural Village, is nice and its lush, manicured tropical garden dominated by a massive Buddha-like statue meditating over a lotus pond, are picture-perfect. The food was super, the staff courteous,... more

One of the new hotels at the Highway #6. Some parts were still under construction while I was there at spring 2006. Not many guests either, in fact I had the restaurant and pool mostly for myself. Courtyard was really nice, staff was extremely friendly, and the food was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. I suppose everything's finished by... more

The Royal Angkor is a pretty decent hotel in a city where it seems you can easily get a good room. The location is good -- away from the commotion of the town but still a short tuk tuk ride away. There is a tuk tuk always on duty and they'll come back and get you any time. I found... more

We found the Royal Angkor Resort quite by chance as we could only get 3 out of the 4 days in Tara Angkor hotel. Royal Angkor is a welcome change for my partner and I on our last day as we had already done most of our temple sightseeing and wanted a place where we can just relax and enjoy... more

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel last month and we are very pleased with our choice. Staff were very polite, efficient and english speaking. Check-in was done as we were seating in the lobby with a complimentary drink. Live traditional khmer music was played discreetly in the morning and evening in the large and classy lobby. The room... more

Total unexpected experience for a good price. It should be a 4 and a half stars international rated hotel. The airport pick-up was unexpected. The check-in gift (a local made silk scarf) was unexpected. The room, bathroom and swimming pool was unexpectedly clean. I saw them cleaning the pool every morning. Very helpful staffs. We were going to the swimming... more
