Stayed here as part of a tour. Rooms are quite shabby and not particularly clean but they are cheap so you get what you pay for! Breakfast at the hotel is pretty good though. Location is fine, about 10 minutes to the markets in a tuk tuk. They did a speedy job of laundry which was great.

I was staying here as part of a tour with Intrepid. As a solo traveller I do not think it is good to put me in the room furthest from the lift. The hotel corridors are liken to a rabbit warren! The room smelt stale and was not clean. I was offered two other rooms but they just got worse.... More

Internet is unreliable. Shower is mounted on the wall at waist height, which makes it really difficult to shower easily. The pressure isn't even good. Pool is nice with plenty of loungers but doesn't get sun for long each day. No safe. Could be closer to town but tuktuk ride is only USD$1. Otherwise was clean, modern fixtures, comfy king... More

Nice pool to cool off in. A bit of a rabbit warren to find your room though. My room was on the fourth floor which was great, with a view of the pool. Unfortunately we were there when there was a funeral on, so there was regular call to prayer happening the whole time, and it was loud and pervasive,... More

We stayed at the Freedom Hotel for 3 nights. The room was OK, the shower is poor. Why do hotels put fridges in rooms where the power goes out when you leave the room? They end up being unplugged and musty smelling as ours was. Ditch the fridge and fix the showers people! Our kettle was broken and it took... More

This place was suggested by a very nice Dutch man that my husband and I met at the border. It was comfortable and the staff was lovely. It is not luxury, by any means, but for south East Asia, it's not bad at all! It is clean and the beds are comfortable. No strange creatures crawled on me in the... More

I stayed at the Freedom Hotel as part of a group of about 35 people gathering for a 5 day meeting. I was a bit concerned with some the less-than-positive reviews. The Freedom Hotel is not a 5 star luxury resort, but it is a wonderful local hotel. The room was basic, but exceptionally clean. Air conditioner was working, internet... More

We stayed in this hotel before joining a tour group in Siem Reap. The room was nice with a slightly dated bathroom. The hotel was clean. It's a bit of a distance from the centre of town. We chose this hotel mainly because it offered free airport pick-up. What we didn't realise was this is an advertising ploy for the... More

Decent rooms, really nice pool and delicious breakfast with real pancakes! Definitely recommended for your stay in Siem Reap! Only downside is location is not walking distance to pub street... Tuk tuks to the area are cheap and quick enough though.

stayed here as part of an intrepid trip and room was okay..... First room had a plumbing issue and were changed straight away with no fuss. Second room was slightly poorer but comfortable. Bathrooms are interesting. Pool area was nice to relax in. Laundry service was efficient and food was good.
