This guesthouse is a little off the beaten path towards the north side of town. You will probably need to get a tuk-tuk to visit the old market or other places in town. To get to the temples, like all the other hotels in town, you have to hire a tuk-tuk to get you there. The guesthouse has about 8... more

We stayed at the Peace of Angkor Villa in Dec after arranging everything directly with them by email from the UK. Emails answered promptly and no problems with booking. Villa is a new place set in a quiet side street about 10mins walk from everything. Our downstairs room was a bit dark and had a slight smell coming from shower/bathroom.... more

From the day I emailed I was contacted within 24 hours with a positive response of a confirmed room + tours for my week stay. When we arrived we were picked up (free of charge) from the airport by Hun who was to be our driver some of the time we were there. Our arrival was fantastic; lots of smiles;... more

This was a wonderful place to return to after a busy day of temple hopping. The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. arranging our tut tut nightly for our dining adventures. Since I am a professional photographer, they also arranged for our 3 days of a private guide and driver to take us to great locations. Yes, it is a short... more

Quiet lil place jus at outskirt of town. A photographer's hangout, ýou'll see works of the owners hanging along walls of hotel and room. Great place to obtain tips and insiders info for budding photographers who wants to visit places off the beaten track. Sincere and friendly owner and staff.. yummmy breakfast. more

This villa rate was cheap, provided all the necessities such as A/C, hot water, and an extremely friendly and helpful staff. But the only problem was it was too far away from the Old Market Area, so to grab anything to eat, you have to get a ride into town. It's also not very well known to the tuk tuk... more

We promote our guest house as a peaceful place away from the noise and traffic . At 1.5 kms 1 mile away, in a city of 150,000 it is not a long distance. We have our own restaurant and there are good restaurants very close. You can walk to the river in a few minutes over the new bridge to...

My wife and I just stayed at the Peace of Angkor and we had a great time. Jim from California 2 suggested we stay here as Dave the owner is an avid photographer and is very knowledgable about the Temples and surrounding area. We took an excursion to Beng Malea Temple outside of town that was just fantastic and they... more

Peace of Angkor Siem Reap: Recommended to us by a friend, the service we received before we even came to the Peace was great. They picked us up for free at the bus station (although it wasn't a car it was a tuk tuk). We received a deluxe hotel room, although I think that only meant it was larger (we... more

I am sorry to hear that rock2000 was disappointed in the location, shower and room changes. If the problem with the shower had been told to us earlier we would have immediately rectified. We only ask guests to change rooms as a last resort. The road to the villa was being worked on and due to rain; it was left...

Just returned from my second visit to Siem Reap Cambodia. Don't let the word Guesthouse turn you off. This is a real gem. Owned by a European couple and staffed by locals, the friendliness of this place can't be matched. I have stayed in other guesthouse/small hotels in this city and Peace of Angkor is a real find. Situated about... more
