Although there are more luxurious retreats in Siem Reap, for us FCC Angkor offered the perfect blend of atmosphere, comfort and style. The bonus is that at FCC you can sit out on the terrace and watch the world go by, or retreat to the quiet, leafy pool area, which is a wonderful oasis. FCC is close to everything, but... More

As the title states, we were satisfied with our stay from an overall standpoint. First the good stuff. Pros: - location was close to the temples (a short tuk-tuk or taxi ride away) - the service was good and friendly - the room was large as was the bed - the pool was nice and, unlike our hotel in Thailand,... My father and I stayed at the FCC Angkor for five nights. We booked the rooms through Agoda but made direct arrangements with the hotel about airport pick-up and being away from the smoking area due to my asthma. They replied promptly, gave us a complimentary ride, and assured us that we would be well taken care of- they were... More

We have just spent five days at this hotel, we were on a very good deal, so it proved to be good value for money, not sure I would feel the same if I was paying full price though. We had a room overlooking the 'garden' area and it was quiet. The room was spacious with good bathroom facilities and... More

I've been travelling to Cambodia for 15 years now and have made over 20 trips to Siem Reap in that time. Always wanted to try the FCC so stayed there for 13 nights this trip. What a disappointment! Room was small and cramped. For the price charged you would expect something more spacious. Room was always full of mosquito's. We... More

Loved this place. Beautifully quiet and peaceful - loved sitting outside the room on day bed of an evening with a cold beer. Pool was a refreshing oasis from the heat. Breakfast delicious and in a great setting. Room very comfortable and staff very happy to help.

The FCC offers a city-centre-and-riverside location, but is very quiet and a great place to relax after a day of temple climbing or exploring the surroundings areas. Our Pool View room was reasonably well-appointed in a colonial style, with high ceiling clearance and full height windows. However, we found the bathroom (shower over bath) to be too dark and slightly... More

We recently enjoyed 4 nights at the FCC Angkor, the rooms were simple, modern and clean. The arrangement of the hotel around the pool and garden creates the feeling of a private oasis in the heat of Cambodia. We enjoyed the hotels tour guide Simrathi, who drove us in an air-conditioned car, he was very well informed and patiently waited... More

After reading a few reviews before I left I thought our rooms might need some love and care. I was so surprised with our room, it is obvious they have done a lot of work around the place. Our room had everything you could ask for, it was down stairs and had a sitting area outside with a Lounge. The... More

We were disappointed on a recent five-night stay. The FCC is a shadow of its former self (we had an excellent stay in 2009). The pool area was poorly kept, as were the grounds. Two of our nights there the restaurant was turned over to large, noisy private parties with loud music. The front-line staff was friendly and tried hard,... More
