We recently enjoyed 4 nights at the FCC Angkor, the rooms were simple, modern and clean. The arrangement of the hotel around the pool and garden creates the feeling of a private oasis in the heat of Cambodia. We enjoyed the hotels tour guide Simrathi, who drove us in an air-conditioned car, he was very well informed and patiently waited... More

After reading a few reviews before I left I thought our rooms might need some love and care. I was so surprised with our room, it is obvious they have done a lot of work around the place. Our room had everything you could ask for, it was down stairs and had a sitting area outside with a Lounge. The... More

We were disappointed on a recent five-night stay. The FCC is a shadow of its former self (we had an excellent stay in 2009). The pool area was poorly kept, as were the grounds. Two of our nights there the restaurant was turned over to large, noisy private parties with loud music. The front-line staff was friendly and tried hard,... More

We chose the FCC Angkor after stopping there for afternoon tea some 4 years ago. From the outside it looked every bit as good as it's reputation would suggest. Service by the attentive staff was great, but we were left feeling sorry for them due to how run-down the place has become. It seemed the staff were trying their hardest... More

2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2015

We visited in early January 2015. The room was a bit old fashioned. Very dark wood. Leaking toilet. Although the staff did respond fast on the two occasions it needed fixing. Thee was a blind which was quite effective in making the room very claustrophobic. However, the alternative was to open the whole frontage of the room to "free view"... More

Rooms are very nice, housekeeping is very efficient. Staff are friendly and helpful overall except during or around evening, 5 to 6pm they can get quite rude and seemingly biased. Breakfast is recommended as the muffins are amazing.

nice place to relax, well managed hotel with this great view of the river, polite service staff and leckker cambodia porridge for breakfast. the pool was not so impressive. If you come to Siem Reap to chill yes this is a good place to stay. But otherwise its a bit pricey

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. The restaurant was great, very lovely setting and breakfast was good too. The front desk helped us organise our trip to Angkor Wat with a Tuk Tuk. Great day and the driver was very helpful.

No big surprise; FCC is darn good. To make this review more helpful I'll just say this. Call for a reservation. Pimms N*1 cup was very nice. Seafood sizzling platter was big and worth the 11 bucks. The satay was boring and had no flavor as did the satay sauce - the skip it. Red curry duck was nice. Salmon... More

This hotel is well located but is suffering from old age. The rooms are very small on Asian standards. Pool and area is dull and gets very little sun. Breakfast was limited, service was slow and staff struggled to understand, but were always polite.
