We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in June and was originally booked into the Deluxe Pool side rooms, however a few days before departure we had an email saying the pool rooms were being worked on, so they moved us into the Deluxe Garden rooms. These were slightly cheaper and were very nice and very spacious (see photo).... more

Our first impression? WOW! We requested a first floor room and this was brilliant. The rooms corner carvings - even the panelling along the bath were brilliant. Big bathroom and the bath was REALLY appreciated after two long days of being nearly 'templed out'. Large private patio area. Nice added touch of 2 free bottles of water each day. Well... more

We stayed in Bopha Angkor for 11 nights - a very pleasant stay indead! Our room was spacious and clean. The swimming pool was very nicely situated in the tropical garden. The garden around the hotel provided a calm relaxing atmosphere. We liked the 'reading corner' (with books). Breakfast was tasty and adequate, and when we asked for additional bread... more

Wow, it was better than I expected. Walking distance to the city, great restaurant, good scenic view, relaxing pool and not forgetting bout the traditional / local design of the hotel. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and big. It was the best trip we had and I would definately recommend this hotel to other friends. I must say the hotel... more

I did quite a bit of research about hotels in Siem Reap, and even though this hotel had mixed reviews, I booked after a friend recommended it. Bad move... My husband and I were highly disappointed with this hotel, and in particular with the staff. Our room was dingy, dark, and in need of serious renovation. That being said, the... more

Loved the hotel. The garden suite room was amazingly romantic. It seems like I was ina fairy dream in an exotic setting. Very affordable and probably one of the best value hotels in the area. We had amazing feasts in the hotel restaurant. The pool is super quite and saline so it is actually not hard on your skin. We... more

This must be the best deal in Siem Reap! The hotel is centrally located close to the central market but once you walk in it is an oasis with a wonderful garden, a very nice pool and a great restaurant. We upgraded to a superior room with a large patio for about 70 dollars a night!!! Highly recommended! more

Having read here that some of the rooms were small and dingy we decided to spend a fair bit extra and book a ‘garden deluxe’ room. Unfortunately, there was no garden in sight - our ground floor room looked directly out onto the restaurant with tables a meter or two from our bedroom window! Also 'deluxe' isn't what I'd call... more

I had a mixed experience at the Bopha Angkor. On the plus side were its convenient location to the town center (I was glad I stayed here instead of one of the large properties outside of town), and its facilities such as lovely open-air restaurant with breakfast, tropical garden and pool. The big disappointment were the rooms themselves. I wish... more
