The CAH is located within a ten minute walk to the river, shops and restaurants. The rooms are ample with a generous and varied b'fast buffet. Unfortunately there were groups of college students doing their winter break partying and were yelling and screaming throughout the night and the staff did nothing about it. There's been a marked increase in tourism... More

We met up with a dozen friends to spend a week in Siem Reap. We chose the Casa Angkor because of the value and location. This was our second trip to this hotel, we were here a year ago. The hotel is under new management. We noticed that the hotel is being transformed into a hotel more for Asians and... More

The hotel was probably selected by the tour group on price. The room was quite large and opened onto a balcony and appeared to be clean. The biggest disadvantages were its popularity with tour groups leading to noisy activities at 2.00 AM and congestion at breakfast. The hot omelette was good as it was cooked to order (get in early... The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel well located. Within walking distance is a shopping centre, restaurants and bars as well as entertainment. The breakfasts were very good and dining area was light and airy. We had some difficulties with the room safes failing to open which caused stress but the problem was rectified.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The best feature of this hotel is the pool. It is pretty with a dark stone backdrop that allowed water to cascade down into the deep end, and a huge tree loomed overhead, providing ample shade from the glaring sun. The pool was a typical size, near the bar, and with plenty of seating... More

Casa Angkor hotel has significant potential - but, as of now, it remains in the medium quality class. Which is not necessarily bad. It is still a good value hotel, with decent facilities, in a quiet area but still close to all the main centres of activity. The issue, I suppose, is that it could be a lot better. Here's... More

Normally, I would list this hotel as an average experience. It was a fine hotel, nothing terribly wrong and nothing terribly breathtaking. However, 2 things really stood out for me at this hotel - 1. the value- at $60 per night you cannot beat this price for the quality. This was a modern and extremely aesthetic hotel. We were fortunate... More

Clean, reasonably priced, and close enough to the market and Pub Street without any of the noise. Our room was spacious with a king bed in it! Three nit picks: the water had a metallic smell, the room safe is quite small, and a bottle of water from the mini bar costs $1.65! Other than that we had a very... More

Casa Angkor is located in a convenient location - a short Tuk-Tuk ride from the markets and Pub Street. However, it is very quiet and extremely comfortable. The room was large and the bathroom well appointed. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok without being super impressive. As some other reviewers have said, the juice was not particularly pleasant.

What a beautiful place to stay. Only had 2 days in Siem Reap but had the good fortune to stay at the Casa Angkor. Really large room, very quiet and great air conditioner. The bathroom was a little dated but that was easily over looked. The breakfasts are really well set up and the selection good. Maybe some western style coffee... More
