I just returned from 3 nites in Siem Riep at the Khemara Angkor Hotel & Spa. It was the last leg of a Thailand Tour with smarTours. Like other travelers, the main purpose of visit was to see Angkor Wat, other historic temples and take an excursion outside the city to the floating village. The hotel was very nice. The... More

We stayed at Khemara Angkor Hotel and Spa for two nights in December as we toured Siem Reap. It was a wonderful stay. With all things, though, you need to set proper expectations. Since we were planning on spending most of our time out and about, we were most interested in finding a hotel that was nice, but not expensive.... More

We stayed two nights here. The pool is nice. Breakfast was good. Clean and quiet. The only negative was not having Internet in our room the second night. We called a few times to request assistance with this, but the problem was not resolved.

we were extremely pleased with the room, breakfast, bar, restaurant, garden and especially the manager, Sambo, who was very gracious and anxious to make our stay memorable. There are good dining options conveniently within walking distance, and most sights are only a one dollar tuk tuk ride away. Highly recommended.

The room was fine, beds comfortable and quiet overall; but the location (on the airport road) meant you couldn't just walk out and enjoy Siem Reap town without either a long hot walk or a car/tuk tuk. Also the restaurant food was really sub-optimal, the pool water tasted a bit funny and the overall place lacked atmosphere. Typical package tour... More

We stayes there for 3 nights, rooms were really clean and tidy, at the reception everyone was polite and helpful. They have a big variety of food for breakfast and you can eat by the swimming pool. It's also located just a few minutes with a tuk tuk from the Bar street and Angkor.

Okay, the hotel was not expensive and there are loads to choose in Siem Reap. The hotel picked us up and the driver was super smiley and friendly. We learned some Khmer language on route. The staff were all smiling and it took my Scottish ears a few minutes to get accustomed to their accents. The place has a lovely... More

Last time we were here we stayed for 4 days and promised ourselves we would be back. The Angkor Region is so interesting, so much to see and photograph. We stayed for 14 days The hotel is excellent and deserves a better star rating. The pool is exceptional and kept in tip top condition, The only complaint was that some... More

Stayed here with Gate 1 tour group. Typical business style hotel - large rooms and bath. Hot water did not work in my room for two days (there is a switch in bathroom to turn on, it was not working - complain right away). Air con worked well. Standard hotel breakfast with many choices including eggs and noodle bar, Asian... More

We checked into the Khemara Angkor Hotel & Spa with our group from Gate 1 Travel. The front desk service was excellent and they even showed us where to take the tuk tuks into the market and told us how much we should pay. Our room was large and very comfortable...not new, but very clean and the bathroom was well... More
