Stayed here with Gate 1 tour group. Typical business style hotel - large rooms and bath. Hot water did not work in my room for two days (there is a switch in bathroom to turn on, it was not working - complain right away). Air con worked well. Standard hotel breakfast with many choices including eggs and noodle bar, Asian... More

We checked into the Khemara Angkor Hotel & Spa with our group from Gate 1 Travel. The front desk service was excellent and they even showed us where to take the tuk tuks into the market and told us how much we should pay. Our room was large and very comfortable...not new, but very clean and the bathroom was well... More

We stayed here for four nights, and it was ideal. Good sized room, clean and comfortable, nice pool, good bar (though it shuts at 11). Excellent buffet breakfast, though the Vietnamese coffee seems more like Mocha. The public areas were a Cambodian cultural experience. The staff polite and efficient, a wonderful stay.

We stayed over the Chinese New Year, and the staff was clearly overwhelmed. Linens were not changed, and we had to remind the staff to clean our room twice. Our room was dirty, and the bathroom smelled of raw sewage. The beds were smaller than advertised and very firm. The drinks at the bar were poorly mixed, and the spa... More

We stayed at the Khemara Angkor for two nights which we found to be suitable to our needs. The lobby presented a Cambodian cultural experience which we really liked. Our room accommodations were on the third floor. The hotel was fully booked for Chinese New Year. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. We had free WiFi in the lobby.The... More

We were on the fifth floor, which we were told were recently renovated. First day, no towels nor hot water, and safe was locked. Had to ask for towels and to unlock the safe, and had a hacking hotel staff try to fix the no hot water problem. All fixed the day we checked in, but was awaken by loud... More

Room was big with 70's asia hotel decor. The lobby was dark and uninviting. Staff were borderline helpful. There were mosquitos in the room and I was bitten and awaken during my first night there ( this is winter time in Siem Reep, cannot imagine summer condition). Wall mounted shampoo and soap dispensers were empty, good thing I brought my... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights last week. First impressions - very friendly staff, clean, nice big room, free WI FI and overall, A GREAT VALUE! Buffet breakfast - love the cook to order eggs, Cambodian noodles soup, the rice porridge and the fruits. Nice selection of food for everyone. Reception area nicely decorated, a souvenir shop... We loved our stay in Cambodia and Siem Reap. To go to town from the hotel in the afternoon you can hire a “tuk tuk” for about $3 for two persons. The return ride in the evening will cost approximately $4. Plan to stay in town until after dark when Pub Street becomes a pedestrian-only walkway. It’s safe and there... More

Stayed here as part of SmarTours. Very pleased with the service, room, breakfast buffet and cheap room hold-over rate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not in the heart of the city but a quick tuktuk ride away.
