This hotel doesn’t look bad from outside appearance but it’s really bad. It is very old and needs 100% refurbishment. It smells bad especially in the elevators. The lobby smells of fried food whenever they’re serving something to tour groups in the restaurant. The room smells of cigarette smoke. The hotel caters to budget Chinese and Korean tours. I had the most unpleasant 6 nights stay in this hotel. The room they gave me was just next to the many aircon compressors from the next door hotel. It was like sleeping in an engine room. Even when they changed my room after much persuasion, I could still hear the "engine noise" but as bad. They claimed WIFI is free... More

I have taken a package tour and where suppose to stay 3 nights but they transfer me to another hotel over the road they where overbooked and I have to shift out. The corridors increase any noise and I did never in my life hear such a shouting and echo of screaming voices. Wi Fi poor and only in the... More

Stayed here for two nights last July. The hotel offers airport shuttle for a fee. Location is somewhere near the airport. Rooms were just OK and please note that they don't have smoking rooms. Free wifi at the lobby ONLY, wifi in the room has a charge, location is just also OK, few mins to downtown but you still need... More

A very basic hotel with minimum amenities. Hair dryer could be requested at the front desk. Breakfast spread wasn't great and the cooking smell lingered throughout the lobby. Wifi wasn't strong, and only available within the lobby and not from the rooms. Towels were old and rough. But thankfully the bed sheets looked alright.

stayed July 29 - August 2, 2014. The Monoreach is on National Rd 6, which is the nation's main drag, heading into Siem Reap town from the airport. The road is chock-a-block with "big box" hotels with very little character despite their ornate facades. Monoreach is one such hotel. The vast majority of guests are Koreans and Chinese on 2-3... It was part of our tour package, if I knew I would pick another hotel. The room was decent size with standard amenities. However no wifi in the room, you have to pay extra for it. With this day and age in room wifi should be standard. They only have wifi in the lobby. The shower curtain was green and... More

I travelled by myself to Siem Reap and stayed in the Monoreach following the suggestion of the agent. Good points: Hotel room comfortable and very clean, all facilities such as swimming pool, fitness and spa, nice traditional breakfast wih a reasonable omelette station, and the fare was decent (about 50 dollars a night). Wifi in the rooms is subject to... More

We stayed in March as part of a tour of Cambodia. This hotel is not suited for the individual traveller and is marketed to the bulk Asian tour groups. Although not the hotels fault we were woken up by loud tourists every morning (groups) with the constant ringing of the floor phone, located just outside our room. Breakfast was poor,... More
