I returned to Cambodia to visit friends I had made there on a prior trip with National Geographic. My Cambodian friends recommended La Noria as they knew that I was looking for a small, personable hotel which had an authentic feel. I stayed for one month and cried when I left. My friends lived at the orphanage started by the... More

I stayed at La Noria in March 2013 with my boyfriend. I had been to Seam Reap already and knew how difficult it is to find a decent but cheap place in the city center. I was looking for a nice and quiet place not too far from all the pubs and bars. La Noria is exactly that. A beautiful,... More

This review is about the restaurant, not the hotel. My family and I selected this place in a guidebook, almost by accident; but our experience was so good that we decided to go back the day after and had exactly the same excellent service and food quality. The restaurant is nicely located, upstairs, on a covered terrace providing with nice... More

Clean & popular. Good location.Big rooms. Would recommend. Only gripes are the mosquitos, especially in room 1 (and the noise). Stupid bathroom/shower. Wet/dry areas???? First morning woken at 7.30 by noisy kids having b/fast. Moved rooms. Next morning woken by loud music at 6.30 from neighbouring establishment. So, a little overpriced since you get bad sleep & that's why we... More

Thanks for your nice comment. Happy you enjoyed it and sorry for noise. Cambodia is peacefull but might be sometimes quite noisy with dogs, ceremonies, weddings and no hotel manage to avoid such occasional disturbances. Looking forward to welcoming you again. Aurore More

We liked the garden setting of the hotel. The rooms are clean and have both AC and the vent. Very good restaurant, we tested traditional Khmer food which was tasty. Every Wednesday at 7pm it’s a traditional dance performance at the restaurant.

Big rooms, beautiful garden with lots of plants, nice pool. Only the bathroom: weird location of the toilet (NOT along the wall) - and an open shower with the water gathering right by the door. Worn orange towels, not very fresh. Great breakfast. If you are into night market or Pub Street this is barely walking distance. But it IS... More

Overall, the place needs a little bit of tender care to make it a bit more presentable inside. However, if you keep in mind that you are not in New York City, this is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly, the room was comfortable and the overall atmosphere is excellent. Avoid staying towards the back of... More

I'd totally recommand this hotel. It's small but cosy. Very clean and the swimming pool is refreshing after a day at the temples. It's out of the busy area which was very welcoming after a tiring day. The tuk tuk driver at the hotel is also a very nice, friendly man. The lady at the reception speaks English very well... More

I did not stay at La Noria, but I did attend the shadow puppet/Aspara dancing performance there and I ate dinner there during the performance. My dinner was insanely delicious. I highly suggest eating here and watching the Wednesday night performance. Make sure to make reservations in advance for the performance.

My husband and I stayed in La Noria a month ago, already for the 2nd time. They are doing some workes right now, so although it wasn't noisy, it feels a bit empty. Apart from that, the staff is very friendly, rooms are basic but clean with AC. The salted pool is very nice, there are amazing trees and flowers... More
