We stayed there for 5 nights to see the temples and the Ton le sap river and lake. The beds were good and so were the rooms. The toiletteries stank for the reason that they were "ecologicaly natural" ( they did not smell refreshing). The pool's temperature was too high and they could have cleaned it more often.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, the pool is salty as it allows to be more friendly to our bodies instead of using bleach and acid and yes, it might be hot during the very hot season which is when you visited siem reap. Difficult to regulate the heat. I am sorry that you disliked the body shampoo as Bodia spa... More

This hotel was our very first hotel in Cambodia. We loved the garden, the pool, the authentic deco, the friendly staff and the khmer shower! The breakfast was pretty basic but overall you get great value for your money!

Borann was one of the most charming and adorable places I've ever stayed in. First of all, the huge and beautiful tropical garden is really unique (didn't see any other hotel in Siem Reap who had this on the internet). We felt like sleeping in nature. There were birds singing in the morning and the view was just amazing. The... More

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in February and found it a lovely place for a long stay in SR. The staff were uniformly helpful and polite. My room was cleaned thoroughly every day, the breakfasts were excellent, though rather too large for my appetite. The room was light and airy - I had one of the rooms... More

We loved this hotel. Everything about it. The staff was amazing. The rooms are charming. The outdoor porch was so lovely to relax and enjoy a coffee or a pre dinner cocktail. I love the tile floors and the ambiance in the room. We stayed on the second floor which provided an amazing vista into the garden, the terrace and... More

Borann l'Auberge des Temples was the second most amazing discovery in Cambodia after the Khmer temples! We arrived here following our friend's advice and interested in the mission of the foundation that runs the hotel, an NGO defending the rights of childhood in Cambodia. We found out it is also a fantastic accommodation, close to Angkor site and 5 minutes... More

The hotel is the only hotel I found under 60 us dollar per night and also get a swimming pool. Good breakfast and service. Nice location, walkable distance to anywhere in downtown. Also they got wifi covered in the whole hotel, although in our room the signal is very weak and we needed to go to the lobby for better... More

In a city that is becoming very expensive, the Borann offers good, clean rooms for still a reasonable price. The staff is nice and helpful, the swimming pool nice, the garden quiet, and breakfast is good. There is no fancy furniture, room service for food and drinks, bathtubs or TVs in the room, but that's ok. Anyway, you're in Siem... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on our way to Phnom Penh. A fantastic Clean, quiet, safe and friendly place to stay. Just spent two nights at this charming little hotel. They staff couldn't have been friendly of helpful enough and the rooms were adorable. Its walking distance from the town and its tucked away nicely so that you feel you are in a quiet remote resort. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
