My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on our way to Phnom Penh. A fantastic Clean, quiet, safe and friendly place to stay. The bungalow we stayed in on ground level was small but well appointed with an emphasis on eco friendly. They are air conditioned, with a ceiling fan, safe, comfortable bed for even us oldies and... Just spent two nights at this charming little hotel. They staff couldn't have been friendly of helpful enough and the rooms were adorable. Its walking distance from the town and its tucked away nicely so that you feel you are in a quiet remote resort. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

I stayed at Borann for two nights for a quick weekend visit to Siem Reap in the middle of a business trip based on a friend's recommendation. I really enjoyed my stay and found the hotel to be a relaxing oasis after the crowds and heat of visiting temples all day. The room is comfortable with a great firm bed... More

I stayed here with my 22 year old son for four nights returning to UK on 17 August 2014. The day before, we had had a long hot journey all day on a bus from the south coast of Cambodia to Phnom Phen and from there the same day to Siem Reap. It was my last stop before returning to... More

Thanks a lot for your nice comment about Borann. I have read your comment regarding Muesli and will try to offer it with some soya milk when i'll return to Cambodia. I'll add yoghurt also as i just purchased machine to do it... We always do our best to improve our service and appreciate when customers do appreciate it and... More

After my 6th stay at the Borann in 3 years, this is still my favorite hotel in Siem Reap. The very stable staff makes me feel at home, the friendly service, the nice pool, and the good rooms are perfect after a day of work. The only very small negatives are the showers, with very limited water pressure, and the... More

Thanks a lot for your nice comment. It is a pleasure to hear that people enjoy our facilities. Indeed, water start to be a problem in Siem Reap due to the quantity of hotels being built in those recent years. If rules have been applied like it was for all, you'll not find any of those big hotels along road... More

Staff was friendly and helpful with bookings. They did however reject to book us a tuk-tuk once, as it was "much nicer to walk" according to the staff. We did not like the room very much. It was very dark, with "outdoorsy" type tiles on the floor. Bathroom was ok, nothing special. The garden is nice with a pool. We... More

I am sorry to read your comment and frankly speaking does not understand it. When you see all hotels around, with more than 50 rooms built on less than 1000 square meters of land, i do not understand how to consider that Borann has nothing special to offer. 3500 square meters of land for only 20 rooms gives you the... I must hoestly state that I really did enjoy my stay at The Hotel Borann. I found the beautiful, jungle-like setting to be very relaxing and was quite impressed with the Khmer hospitality. I prefferred to stay outside of the town center, and I enjoyed the lovely walk along the river into town. It is a beautiful place I feel... More

Thanks a lot for your comment. Just for you to know, the town center of Siem Reap is the royal residence if you look a map...so we are just there. What the people now consider the town center is this noisy pub street, and we are happy to be far enough to keep the silence of our big garden. Hope... More

What a joy to return to the Borann after a day of sight-seeing at the Temples of Angkor. It is just a short Tuk-tuk ride to the center of Siem Reap but also walking distance if you prefer. The breakfast is included, the staff are absolutely wonderful, and the owner has founded one of the largest children's charities in Cambodia.... More

Thanks a lot for your very nice comment on Borann. We, all the team of Borann, are very happy to read that you appreciate our effort to make it different. Some people may complain in the beginning about TV and realise that it is so nice to enjoy nature instead. Looking forward to welcome you again, Bénito and all the... More

Borann is living in a tropical garden, with aircon, excellent francophone breakfasts compris, served by exquisitely courteous Khmers, while being beckoned by the sparkling pool. For variety, walk across the road to its sister property, La Noria, for a slightly bigger menu in its more swept up facility. But the serenity of Borann suits me better. Front desk staff very... Thanks a lot for your nice comment. Very rewarding. Regarding your comment about the funds to the charity, i'd like to make it clear again. Borann is a private hotel that i build 14 years ago to have an income and to continue the work i have been doing for the organisation Krousar Thmey since 1991. Nowhere we have written... More

A bit aside from busy Siem Reap (walk 25 minutes to the downtown). This is a peaceful guest house where we spent four days, with quite many hours lazying around the pool. Internet was very poor in our room. Please note that two women had their bag snatched at night in front of the gate when we were there.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment. Since, we have upgraded our internet in order to have access to the room and have wired it to be finer 1giga at the hotel. It is a lot faster, but due to nature, treees are not good friends with wifi, when it rain too much, the trafic might be a bit slow...but... More
