My girlfriend and me have spent 4 days in Mom's Guesthouse. We have been extremely surprised by this clean and very good maintained guesthouse. The service has been excellent. The staff has been always kind and smiling. The room has been cleaned deeply every day and the fridge always refilled with 2 bottles of water for free. Before coming, we... more

Our visit to Cambodia was made the moment we walked into Mom's Guesthouse in Siem Reap because of Chhay, who runs Mom's with good humoured professionalism and is interested in ensuring his Guests see & experience Cambodia from multiple perspectives. It was, in fact, Chhay who hired a terrific Guide and tuk tuk Driver and created an itinerary that took... more

Mom's claims to be Siem Reap's oldest extant GH. Newer ones - most impressively, the Mandalay Inn (closer to the action, with a Burmese section to the menu) - have overtaken it. Nonetheless, it is faultless in terms of cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. No restaurant (as I remember), but the comfy "Home Cocktails" is across the street and the... more

My husband and I initially booked reservations at Two Dragons and were horrified when we got there. The bathroom did not have any toilet paper (empty roll), the toilet was dirty (someone left a present), the bathroom had mildew, the towels smelled like dingy laundry and had visible holes in them, and the bed was awful. We were shocked since... more

Our group of 5 went to siem reap recently and found this guesthouse online. We made a booking for 2 rooms at USD20 & 25 per room per night (1 DBL, 1 TPL). For the price paid we don't have much complaints with regards the room cleanliness and amenities, even if the towels, bed linen and slippers provided don't look... more

Dimly lit rooms. Very basic and small with old furniture. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Staff ignores you most of the time and you have to take effort to aproach them. Din from the neighbour is annoying. Breakfast nothing to shout about. more

Basic rooms with run-down beds. Linen not so clean. There were stains on the towels. Location not very convenient. Have to use tuk-tuks to commute to anywhere. Beware that Mom's tuk tuks are more expensve than those from the streets. Did not like the breakfast. Mom's charges a fee for usage of credit cards. Certainly there are better alternative accomodations... more

Dear Trip Advisor Readers, This past March, my wife and I, and two of our friends, vacationed in South East Asia. One of the highligts of the trip was our three day trip from Thailand to Cambodia. It was a huge success largely thanks to the help we’ve received from Mr. Chay and his family – the owners and operators... more

Staff are not friendly and hardly smile. Do not make you feel welcomed. Pickup from airport is free , but on board a tricycle called a tuk-tuk. Makes you feel ridiculous , being the only three-wheeled 'open' transport leaving the airport. You are expected to take up their tuk-tuk service during your stay to compensate for the free pickup. Their... more
