The breakfast and staff is amazing. You can feel safe leaving belongings out. Only down side was the price. It is negotiable for longer terms. With the amount being paid, I have found other hotels that have better rooms. With that said, the location is in a perfect place and that is why they have the ability to charge more.

Having now stayed at the Ta Prohm Hotel for a second time, and also at three other local establishments recently,I can unequivocally state that the Ta Prohm towers above them It's position opposite the river, right near the exotic markets,it's stunning teak wood panelled foyer, replete with a sweeping spiral staircases ,it's massive carved Khymer statues and Buddhist Deities all... Having stayed here some 3 years ago we booked this hotel again without hesitation.Once again we were not disappointed. The Ta Phrom is full of wonderful atmospheric teak furniture not only in the foyer and restaurant but our room as well! A balcony overlooking the magnificent river. A very inviting buffet breakfast on the upstairs terrace.Great coffee.Friendly staff who say hello... More

We had booked reservations at a different hotel but were not very happy there, so we went for a walk and came across Ta Prohm Hotel. Fortunately they had a room available for the next 4 nights and they offered to show it to us. It was great!!! It was clean, updated and the staff were very friendly! We moved... More

Booked a standard room for 2 nights. And was surprised when i got to their hotel and the guy at the reception told me that they upgraded me to a suite room for free! Happy! The room was clean, spotless, compete amenities, and with good view! The breakfast was great! There was one guy in the restaurant who was very... More

This is a stunning hotel with beautiful decor consisting of exotic timber construction and reproduction of Khmer art. The interior however, is dark and would benefit from additional lighting. A somewhat embarrassment to the hotel is the attitude of the front desk staff who do not go out of their way be friendly towards guests and even totally ignore them.... More

Several years ago I used be used this hotel. But I changed my main hotel to another, because of some conflict with staffs of front desk. This time I stayed again under the requesting of my friends. My impression is renewed to so bad. Staff member of front desk mistook of room rate and not agree of their mistake. Finally... More

Here for a night in December and there definitely was a big language gap with all staff at the front desk. Certainly some mishaps are expected as this is not the Hilton, but Siem reap is constantly filled with tourists. Staff could not understand even basic English questions. Good location, but the fridge did not work and rooms were dated.

We stayed here for 5 days over the Christmas break, the room was great, the staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel is a one minute walk to pub street which is the heart of Sian Reap. The rates were cheap for the time of year. To visit the Angkor Wat temples took around 15 minutes in a tuk... More

We made hotel reservations at another hotel in Siem Reap for three nights, but disliked the small room we had. We requested a larger room, but was told all the rooms were the same size. The next morning, we looked for another hotel and found Ta Prohm Hotel. We loved this hotel(!). The room was quite large with a king... More
