We had booked reservations at a different hotel but were not very happy there, so we went for a walk and came across Ta Prohm Hotel. Fortunately they had a room available for the next 4 nights and they offered to show it to us. It was great!!! It was clean, updated and the staff were very friendly! We moved... More

Booked a standard room for 2 nights. And was surprised when i got to their hotel and the guy at the reception told me that they upgraded me to a suite room for free! Happy! The room was clean, spotless, compete amenities, and with good view! The breakfast was great! There was one guy in the restaurant who was very... More

This is a stunning hotel with beautiful decor consisting of exotic timber construction and reproduction of Khmer art. The interior however, is dark and would benefit from additional lighting. A somewhat embarrassment to the hotel is the attitude of the front desk staff who do not go out of their way be friendly towards guests and even totally ignore them.... More

Several years ago I used be used this hotel. But I changed my main hotel to another, because of some conflict with staffs of front desk. This time I stayed again under the requesting of my friends. My impression is renewed to so bad. Staff member of front desk mistook of room rate and not agree of their mistake. Finally... More

Here for a night in December and there definitely was a big language gap with all staff at the front desk. Certainly some mishaps are expected as this is not the Hilton, but Siem reap is constantly filled with tourists. Staff could not understand even basic English questions. Good location, but the fridge did not work and rooms were dated.

We stayed here for 5 days over the Christmas break, the room was great, the staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel is a one minute walk to pub street which is the heart of Sian Reap. The rates were cheap for the time of year. To visit the Angkor Wat temples took around 15 minutes in a tuk... More

We made hotel reservations at another hotel in Siem Reap for three nights, but disliked the small room we had. We requested a larger room, but was told all the rooms were the same size. The next morning, we looked for another hotel and found Ta Prohm Hotel. We loved this hotel(!). The room was quite large with a king... More

Nice hotel and very inexpensive. Staff were very helpful. Clean air conditioned rooms. Unfortunately no pool which would have been an asset with the high humidity. Great location with night markets and Pub Street close by. Many restaurants within the area offer a variety of dining experiences. A sort drive to the temples. Good value for money.

When you enter the hall of this hotel, you will be impressed by its well-designed interior. The stair, lobby, furniture, wall pallet, ceiling, ... are made from solid wood. Especially, the receptionist desk and the wall behind it are decored elegantly by a lot of carved apsara dancer shapes. The breakfast buffet has little choice. The staff are very friendly and... Really spectacular teak veneered reception and on all the walls. Breakfast is ok, cost is good, we managed to get a discounted rate around $40. The location is really good with quick access to the markets, massage places and pub street all of which is family friendly.
