The best hotel we have ever stayed at in terms of location and service as well as value for money. Free airport transfer, free dinner, cell phone for emergencies and free tuck tuck. As well as an excellent service with free drink and explanations and information.

We got a rush trip over Indochina at the beginning of April and booked 2 nights at this hotel via Agoda because its advertising price looked great and the images of their property seemed to be nice as well. We were totally depressed about the quality of the hotel in terms of the facilities inside the room, toilet. The floor... More

As we stayed throughout Cambodia in many different places, this was by far the most disappointed hotel we stayed at. The breakfast buffet was cold, the young girl in charge of the egg station, just looked down and played with her phone. You walk into this big lobby, and the front desk is behind glass doors just a disconnect with... More

Didn't stay here this time (Feb 2010) but can report that it appears to have now closed down. Previous report suggesting it would be demolished soon seems to be happening. The large Garden Bar and restaurant outside have gone. No tuk tuk outside waiting for business No lights on. No staff visible. No sign of customers

We stayed here for one night after leaving the Palm Village (amazing resort, btw). While the location of the Diamond is decent, right beside the river, the hotel itself deserves a wrecking ball. The room smelled terrible, the fridge didn't work and the breakfast is best avoided. After pointing out the shortcomings of the room, we agreed on $US 20... More

We fell for the Tuk tuk scam where "everything is full" and tales of "I took one guy around for two hours trying to find a cheap place to stay" except of course the hotel they want to take you to. First impressions seemed very good - we were shown to two bungalows in the grounds, rooms done out in... More

A nice little hotel by the river, directly across the road from the FFC (which is a great place for a meal). Some of the rooms are in the main building, but the nicer rooms are in the lovely little air-conditioned huts. You may find you are sharing the room with a little lizard on the ceiling or wall, but... More
