Our group, all physicians, stayed at this hotel because our tour organizers booked it. The hotel lacks most amenities and the door locking system is joke like. The rooms, alone are okay, but the washroom is the only modern part of them. No in-room TV, the internet doesn't work most of the time, the restaurant offers very limited options and... More

What we loved about this hotel was that the setting was peaceful, the architectures was lovely, and fit into the environment. I looked at some of the other 4-5 star resorts and the Angkor Village had more charm and beauty. Breakfast and lunch were both very good, and while the hotel is about 1 mile from the center of town... More

The hotel has a beautiful setting, the rooms are nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. As the hotel is close to the temple area and not too far away from the city centre. It was convenient for us as we stayed several days and went to the temples more than once. The breakfast is good, but... More

We were exhausted when we arrived having put in a ten hour day riding over unpaved roads and walking in 106 degree temperatures through Champ Temples. We felt like we'd arrived in paradise when we were greeted by two lovely ladies bearing cold wash cloths and cool refreshing drinks. From that point on things got even better. Our room was... More

Everything was outstanding. The gardens were amazing, and I enjoyed the friendliness and politeness from all of the helpful members of staff. The only thing I missed was free wi-fi in my room. I think it's become a way of life to access information via the internet and I was surprised that this service wasn't included. More

The pictures look tranquil, don't they? And yet, despite asking for a quiet room, I am this moment listening to a crew of workmen hammering and pounding -- for the second day in a row, all day long -- not ten yards from my window. For some reason, the staff finds it surprising I'm not happy with this..... More

Beautiful territory and good rooms, nice pool. Very good food as well. Staff is very helpful. However, this is probably one of the most expensive hotels in Siem Reap but I would say it worth it. Start your day with excellent breakfast, go explore Angkor Wat or some other place, come back, relax by pool, swim, go to the town... More

Undoubtedly, Angkor VIllage Resort is luxurious and filled with many amenities : its river/swimming pool, fine decorations, extensive breakfast buffet and tropical garden are just part of the picture. However, when paying these kinds of prices in a country where 10 USD will set you a decent double room anywhere, one expects flawless service and it wasn't delivered. A few... More

The chocolate croissants were fabulous. They handled all our touring arrangements. The flowers all ariund the grounds were lovely. I think all of my group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) were well satisfied. More

My family just spent three nights at this place and we loved it. It is not a five star place and you should not go expecting that. But we liked it a lot better than the much more expensive five star Raffles where we stayed in Phnom Penh. The common areas have lovely ponds and flowers, the rooms are comfortable,... More
