My husband and I loved this hotel. Charming, pretty, unique, and full of history. We really felt like we had stepped back into time. Service is impeccable. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and caring. Carlos the piano player is a fun personality and a beautiful pianist. Definitely take time to have a cocktail and listen to him play. One night... We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Angkor Wat. The hotel is colonial, they have the original beautiful old lift in the lobby, complete with bellboy to operate! It's like stepping back in time. We stayed in a Landmark room in the old wing of the hotel, the rooms have character, are spacious and clean. Our only negative comment... More

A hotel that is ideal for having as a base if interested to see some of the best temples in Cambodia. We organised a couple of day trips form the hotel and we really saw some fantastic temples and scenery. The hotel has great service and food is rather average but still good enough. Lacks some atmoshere but it is... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night recently, having stayed at another hotel in Siem Reap which I had loved and had been a fraction of the price. The service was good, the rooms were clean but a little dated but the breakfast buffet was a little limited and mediocre. Having said that, the hotel is currently being refurbished... More

We did not stay at the hotel but visited the hotel for the apsara dance. The Apsara dance was fantastic and the martial arts performance was interesting. The dinner buffet has a good variety but was average. The staff was friendly and attentive. More

My wife and I stayed three nights at Raffles Grand Hotel in Siem Reap, April 23-26, 2012. This was once THE hotel in Siem Reap and when it was re-opened, following the years of political turmoil, I understand that it was the only five star hotel. Now there are many upscale hotels in town. Our comparisons on this trip are... More

We only had two nights here, but I could easily have spent a week. Understated elegance describes it perfectly. Nothing flashy or overdone, just supurb service and facilities. The staff is incredibly attentive, without being insincere. The rooms are simple but comfortable. I truely thought I'd been transported to the scene of a 1940's film about Indochina. I came to... The room was wonderful as were the staff. We really enjoyed Ankor Wat and could have spent a lot longer there exploring. So very beautiful and the Cambodian people are just lovely. The breakfasts were Large!! Raffles really takes care in every way and a great place to explore Siem Reap. Truly some of the nicest and honest real smiles... More

We stayed 3 night in Raffles during early May. The staff are truly outstanding and the hotel provides a very personalised level of service. I was particularly impressed that the staff learnt our names so quickly and made us feel very welcome (even the pool staff greeted us by name). We ate in the Le Grande restaurant and the food... Raffles as a hotel chain comes with it's list of expectations. This property is fantastic and has the special touch. We were a large group, and upon our entry to the hotel we were taken aback with the warmth with which they welcomed us. Made us feel instantly at home. The property is lovely, sprawling and a short tuk-tuk ride... More
