We stayed three nights at Samatika Boutique. The hotel is great especially if you want to relax and stay a little bit outside the center of town. There is trees all around the resort which is something i highly appreciated. The room was very comfortable The staff is well trained and very responsive. They are very friendly and will make... It is a small and beautiful boutique hotel with garden view. The staff are nice and friendly, but less experienced and need to be trained. They are able to manage simple English only. Your stay would be accompanied by small bugs and Mosquitos. If you are lucky enough like me, one mega size cockroach would come and greet to you.... More

Average small little hotel in need of refurbishment. There are numerous moth larvae we need to get rid of upon moving in from its sister hotel (La Villa Coloniale) due to power outage. To be fair, the management charged us accordingly for the hotel. Appreciate the free tuktuk service. The swimming pool's fine.

Nothing to complain since the hotel is not expensive. Good location. It's quiet. You can relax in the pool side or have refreshments after a long exhausting day. Hot and cold shower. Excellent wifi. The staffs are friendly. They're willing to help, whatever you need. Free tuktuk!!

My husband and I stayed for 4 days. We loved everything about this little hotel. It offers two way transport (from and to airport/bus station) It is not in the city centre, so a nights sleep would be quiet and relaxing. They offer FREE tuktuk service from and to the hotel. Room is big with nature/khmer theme, good bed and... More

Our base camp was Asia, the second camp was Cambodia, the third one was Siem Reap and the forth was Samatika Butique Hotel. Luckily we didn’t have such as tragic fate as the mountaineers in Nepal, but we didn’t intend to climb to Mt Everest, only the Angkor temples. This hotel was listed as a Quantas hotel; this is how... The hotel is not close to the center but it is in a walking distance and they offer a free tuk-tuk. They have a nice swimming pool. It is good to relax near it after a day in Angkor. They offer a good breakfast for free. I guess this is more than enough to feel yourself comfortable. I would definitely... More

Samatika is a lesson in good intentions but bad management. The pool has been endlessly harped as one of the highlights of this hotel, but the washrooms are infested with visible mold, probably due to being combined with the shower in the small, unventilated room. The closet surfaces all retained a thin layer of dust upon check-in, and didn't change... More

We found this through Qantas Hotels and the price was excellent (A$36 about US$27 per night including breakfast and 2-way transfer to airport). The room was not big (we stayed in the older section) but it had everything we needed and there were even amenities like shampoo. etc. There is a swimming pool with an adjacent bar. The problem is...
