A medium standard hotel for this region. Naturally from its name had a wooden facade and polished wooden floors and walls. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace, ideal for this time of year, but they did not serve food of an evening. The rooms were small but comfortable, the bathroom had its own immersion heater for water, although there... More

Arrived late at night only to be told its closed down but they had reserved rooms elsewhere. Thanks for that. I think it would have been far better to tell me when I booked. We were ferried to another hotel whos advertised price was much lower but when questioned were told we would have to pay the Wooden Angkor price... More

Stayed here as part of a 14 night trip to Cambodia and Vietnam in November 2014. It's not glam and glitzy but is very friendly and offers decent accomodation in Siem Reap not far from Pub Street. Try the restaurant a couple of doors down in the opposite direction to Pub Street; it was really good and visited by Gordon... More

It is in a little narrow street, but full value for the money. A short walk to a supermarket and an ATM. But let the hotel book your transportation, els you risk paying at least twice the price. We do recommend this if you want a place to stay where there is no noise. Very gentle staff. Well English spoken... More

Do not expect 4 stars at this hotel, it is an old and out dated hotel but very clean, the staff are so friendly, they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable, the location of the hotel is great as it is only a 4-5 minute walk to the day and night markets and Pub Street with all... This was the first of my Hotel stays on a tour of Cambodia and Vietnam. A gentle Hotel with friendly staff and good complimentary service. I liked the roof terrace breakfast which had a good choice. The air con in my room was somewhat noisy and I found that a night time problem. Excellent location and Siem Reap so very... More

I like the wooden design of this hotel, the staffs are friendly and helpful. They can speak English well. Walking distance to the pub street and night market. Approximately half an hour from the airport. In conclusion, great location and reasonable.

I stayed on this hotel for 4D3N. The staff are friendly and warm. WIFI was excellent and breakfast was good. Ver basic hotel but the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Location quite strategic though you have to walk a bit to Pub street but there is a lot of Tuk Tuk service at you convenience. They are generous with... More

We are staying here for four nights and are happy with our choice. It is fairly basic but spotlessly clean, quiet, safe and convenient. Service is friendly and helpful. 24 hour tea and coffee gratis available in foyer with free wifi and computers if you haven't brought your own. My only gripe is , same as in most of Asia,... More
