This hotel has so much potential and could really be charming. Instead it was dirty and lacked good management. It might be okay for the backpacking travelers under 35 but we are older and found it most unsatisfying. Air conditioner only worked when we were in the room so we had to come back to a really hot room after... More

I don't know why all the hype about Frangipani - maybe I booked the wrong one - there are apparently two in Siem Reap though their website is confusing and does not make it clear at all. The room could have been cleaner - I'm a little OCD, but the dingy/dirty towels were off-putting. Breakfast was mediocre. The air con... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Angkor Wat. Right when you walk in the greet you with two cold drinks and sit you down on a comfy sofa while you fill out some paperwork. The staff speak very good English and are always happy to help you. They will set you up with a driver for only $20... More

A great budget place to stay. Simple but clean rooms, excellent food, fabulous outdoor space to sit around the swimming pool, wonderful spa, and altogether a fantastic stay. If you have a bit more money, splash out on a balcony room. The best thing about this hotel is their ethical stance which includes employing local staff and using local products... More

We booked 1 night at this hotel as it was one of the only ones still available upon late arrival to Siam Reap. Friendly staff, but the room is very simple, random quality bed and very old toilet... good breakfast and nice swimming pool but in the end it's not worth the 70usd we ended up paying...

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel beginnen of December 2013. We actually booked a room in the other Frangipani hotel in Siem Reap but that was fully booked. No harm done because we only have positive experiences with this hotel. The rooms were clean, food was good and the staff is extremely helpfull and friendly. Nice pool also. Seems... More

I stayed 4 nights in November 2013. The staff and service are great (5 stars). The staff were very helpful, had good restaurant recommendations, and were able to provide change for larger bills. The hotel had a great breakfast spread, including an omelet chef, excellent massages in the spa, a very nice pool, and overall an elegant atmosphere. The three-day... More

This hotel needs a major face lift. The rooms are decent enough but expect to find chipped paint, and basically its an old looking hotel. Also Villa II has no lifts, but The main Villa do have one so prepare for some steps! Despite all the physical challenges, the staff are really REALLY helpful! We found that the day staff... More
