My husband and I stayed at a couple other places in Siem Reap before landing at the Cashew Nut Guesthouse. Though we stayed several nights, I'm sad that I didn't find it sooner! After gawking at the photos and description online, we ended up booking the relatively new addition -- the Penthouse Suite. We got the entire top floor, with... More

We are budget travelers and stayed here for two nights. They were full so we took a triple room with three single beds for two of us. We had very little interaction with the staff but they were friendly enough. There was a nice rooftop area we brought some food up to and ate one night. The shower was hot,... More

I requested a quiet room but was given street side on a very busy road. Room was clean. Odd presentation with sweets on towels, no soap supplied but a toothbrush. I didn't find the owner/ managers? welcoming. One of them was quite defensive and unhelpful when asked about poor internet connection in my room. "Nobody else has complained about it".... More

Thank you for your recent stay with us and subsequent review. We are an extremely busy and popular guest house and tend to be fully booked quite quickly. At the time of your booking, we had 1 room remaining which was reserved in your name. The room does not overlook the main road; it looks out onto a large terrace... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, and loved our stay. The room was nice good size and clean, with a fan, which probably could have been more powerful, but apart from that it was a nice room, with an en suite and a working TV. Upon arrival there is a folder with many different tours around Siem Reap and transport... More

Stayed here as a backpacker with a friend. First booked only two nights but then extended for the whole week of our Siem Reap visit. The location was a bit hidden, but quite good. A tuktuk away from everything, or an ok walk to the Night marked, Pub street if you like to walk a bit (like us). Very friendly... More

We were only in SR for two nights but this guest house was perfect! They picked us up for free from our bus station and brought us to the house. We had air con, hot water shower and great wifi - and the location is good to walk around town. (10 minutes or less to pub street!) You can order... More

We had a great time here when we stayed for four nights in November. The location is very nice, not too close to the loud central area but close enough to walk. I very much liked my room, basic but comfortable. The downstairs common areas are great for meeting up with your friends. The best was the staff, who are... More

The good parts: - The location is away from pub street and quiet, but within walking distance - Had no problem picking up a tuk tuk outside - Hot water was a good temperature But, - The water pressure in the top floor room next to the balcony was awful. The sprayer next to the toilet had better water pressure... More

Thank you for your review of The Cashew Nut Guesthouse. Thanks for also mentioning that we are located within easy walking distance of Pub Street, but far enough away to cut down on any noise. Your 'water pressure issues' in the bathroom on the top floor result from the fact that water pressure is occasionally low here in Cambodia, (it... More

We stayed here for three nights and we were very pleased. Friendly and helpful staff, good location a bit away from the action and a nice, clean room on the second floor. The hostel arranged for all sorts of activities. Only minus was constant water on the bathroom floor because of poor drainage and a semi-blocked sink, but all in... More

Our room was very basic, nothing flash but had everything you needed. The fan was very powerful even on low so A/C is a good option. It was at least 15 min walk down a busy road to pub street night market area- quite a way in heat. Positives: -a list of tour options and things to do was emailed... More
