We originally booked four nights but ended up staying for seven as it was so great! It is in a great location and away from the main area of Pub Street. Although it is only a five minute walk into town, we usually got a tuk tuk as their are no paths to walk on (usually 1 or 2 dollars.)... More

We were so happy with the location, you walk left out of the guest house and can either carry on right or left and they both lead to the night market/restaurants/river. Places are easy to find from the guesthouse and the staff will help you if your unsure of any location. Was very quiet, only saw 2 other guests and... More

Thank you for your review and I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. Regarding the air con: ALL our aircon units work exactly as they should. When making a reservation you can choose between aircon cooling or fan cooling (which is cheaper). The reservation you made was for FAN cooling. All guests who choose a fan-cooled room... More

For £10 a night we had a very clean, spacious and comfy room! The staff were very friendly and the owner was English so he was very helpful. There a pool which is amazing! Well needed when staying in a city. Loved our stay and would 100% stay again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and found it very comfortable. It is in walking distance to pub street/night markets and we felt safe the whole time walking in. The staff were very friendly, spoke good English and were helpful to book tours (we did the 4:30am sunrise tour to Angkor Wat with a really nice tuk... More

Comfortable quiet and clean hostel with a pool. Staff were mostly helpful. Location is a little bit far out of the main town centre, but still only a 10 minute walk to Pub Street. Disappointed that even though our twin room had A/C, there was no way to switch it on. Turns out they want an extra $5 per night... More

Thank you for your review and I am pleased to see that, on the whole, you enjoyed your stay with us. Re. A/C and rooms; I believe in offering guests a choice; some want aircon; others do not. And, yes, there is a price difference. ALL the sites through which we operate offer the option of rooms with a/c or... More

Great place to stay. Went with friends. We got two rooms including the penthouse. ....which comes with a private outdoor spa. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged all of our daily excursions. ...try to get Mr Pitt as your tux tux driver! He is the best!

I cannot recommend The Cashew Nut enough. This guesthouse made our stay in Siem Reap the smoothest it could have been, largely due to the kindness of Steve (the owner), John, and the rest of the staff here. I knew from the beginning of our stay that we had made the right choice in choosing The Cashew Nut. We had... More

Thank you for your review and I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay here. We continually strive to offer the best possible service for all of our guests. The super cool a/c you mentioned is at least proof that the thing is working properly and it is possible to increase the temperature by the remote control. Nonetheless, some guests... More

I had originally booked to stay for only two nights, but extended my stay for the two weeks I was in Cambodia. Staff are so friendly and helpful, I felt really safe there which was important to me as a young solo traveller. A short 10min walk to the city centre, but far away enough to be peaceful and quiet!... More

Reasonably priced and in a great location. The rooms are basic but serve the purpose! In a great spot, walking distance to lots of good bars and restaurants. (Try Happy House just down the road, doesn't look much from the outside but the best food and service we had in Cambodia!) Hotel is expanding and will have a pool by... More

Thank you for your review and I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us.
