We chose this hotel based on the reviews on here and other sites and were sorely disappointed. The hotel is now under new management (or at least, I assume it must be - the previous reviews rave about the lovely family running this place - they are certainly not there now) and uses the names Pechh So and So Chhin... For 12,- dollar per night with ac we didnt expect much. However, we were suprised by the cleanliness of the rooms. Good beds and superfast wifi. They don't have bicycles anymore, but you can rent them down the street. Better to ride a bike than walk. The street is long and full of stray dogs. Also tuktuk drivers wont bother... More

We were redirected here from Hak's House as it was fully booked, and could not have been happier with So Chhin! Great breakfast included, aircon, hot showers (we had a slight problem with ours one night and someone came to fix it immediately) free bicycles, loads of advice, rooms cleaned daily...and so cheap! It was the staff that really made... More

We stayed here as a couple for 3 nights in room 1, which was great, as it's a quiet room in the back, away from the street side. The staff here are so kind, helpful and friendly, and our room was cleaned every day. This hotel was a very good value for the rate charged.

So chhin hotel is a new hotel. It's not in guides so it's a very good value for the price because you have a double bedroom (aircon + TV + private) for 15 USD BUT including a good brekfast. So for 2 people, instead of 15 is more 11 USD only the bedroom, because a simple brekfast in Siem Reap... More

An unforgettable experience and i wish that many other hotels had the same objective about showing their guest that they love their job. They offer free bicycles and its about 300m to town and the array of markets and restaurants and shops and the famous pub street. The manager and staff are so friendly and helpful. I was taken advantage of here. About $80 was taken from the room while I was not there. The staff there tried to say I must have lost the money! I know it was taken from the hotel room. IF you do end up here, DO NOT leave anything VALUABLE in the room. Not even hidden away.
